Club he’s going to nominate still in finals.. won’t disrupt their focus till their season is done.I just find it strange he didn’t nominate a club, everyone else has that still is playing in finals so I don’t buy that as an excuse at all.
Maybe he’d prefer Geelong or maybe he’s given the dogs a couple of clubs he’d prefer to play with.
Who the **** knows, but right now it’s not locked into the cats only imo

Pretty sure we were linked to him last season - I would be interested. Has a bit of mongrel about him as well which is always niceThe player Dwayne Russell thinks Carlton should target to fill small forward hole

Haven't heard of us being linked to Sam Wicks, but I think he'd fit nicely.
To be fair Motlop and Durdin only played 6 games each. Fantasia was playing much higher up the ground as well. Would be nice to get more goals from Fog (15 games) but his defensive work is his real strengthWe have a huge problem with our small forwards (apart from owies) not kicking enough goals…Goal tallies for 2024…
Matt Owies 33 goals ()
Lachlan Fogarty 9 goals
Orazio Fantasia 9 goals
Corey Durdin 7 goals
Jesse Motlop 6 goals
That is abysmal

Short answer. Yes, depending on the mix. There in lies the problem.I love Fogarty but is this enough these days?
Yes if we get the other small forwards right. I think Fogarty, Williams and one other small with some form of positional awareness who can crumb is a nice mixI love Fogarty but is this enough these days?
Liam Ryan is worth nothing...Future 1st for Ryan & your future 2nd:
Petrucelle straight swap for Jack Carroll is about right.
The Errol year was the year where the draft concessions for academy players were so great that there was zero chance they wouldn't be selected by Sydney. So no one really bid on them. Teams just ignored them from the draft board, didn't put any time into them and therefore no bids came. Now it has become clear that you can't let Sydney just take these guys for free because they end up with too good a draft hand like Gulden at 32, but that idea seemed less prevalent at the time. Teams didn't want to take the risk, however small, of landing a player they'd done no research on, or some seeming sense of not wanting to 'offend' the player you do eventually pick by bidding on another player with your pick. How do Geelong keep finding these gems later in the draft.
How do they even know!?!

Yes. We need way more of this.I love Fogarty but is this enough these days?
Watching his performance against Carlton at the end of the season confirmed that. He was woeful.Liam Ryan is worth nothing...
WCE are traffic cones. Michael Gibbons could have kicked a bag on themGame plan or ability?
They looked very good against WCE when we kicked it into space instead of bombing it
True but our entries into f50 looked a lot better …prolly because no H and Charlie and ball carriers forced to lower eyes and make better connections…WCE are traffic cones. Michael Gibbons could have kicked a bag on them

Now you're talking!!! I was a huge Micky Gibbons fan...although I don't think I've ever seen a player more mismanaged at our club than he wasWCE are traffic cones. Michael Gibbons could have kicked a bag on them

We could put young Nick Watson in our forward line and his attacking instinct would be drilled out of him to become a defensive forward. Until we start making changings with our forward entries and setup, we will always fall back to the long kick to Charlie and Harry who will be outnumbered. Our forward setup is too easy to defend
