Owies is after opportunity, not a pay rise

Matt Owies’ manager Matt Bain has scoffed at a report that his client was demanding $800,000 per year to continue his AFL career.

That's just a hypothetical where we get another top 20 pick. As it is, I think Hotton won't make it far into the teens (if at all), and Hynes might wind up top 10.

KPD wise there's a lot of options, though probably not early in the draft. Weideman is one I've mentioned in the bluemour thread: he's out of contract and Essendon are squeezed for list spots. If he's happy to play defence I think we might be a chance to grab him.

I wouldn't take Trainor at our first pick due to the concussion concerns and there's no other proven KPDs in that range. Probably missed something here but what the hell!
