Ludicrous? A bird in the hand and all that. Someone needs to kick them other than H&C. Our ability to share the load hasn't been a strength. We donāt need to find 30 goals although I am sure Kemp, JSOS, Moir etc will, itās about restricting the opposition to larger scores than ours.
Bring in a KPD, maybe a rebounding defender in Houston, add some pace and flare to our midfield who get back to help out and we will be ok.
The talk of we need to keep Owies because he kicked 33 (24 of those against teams outside of finals mind you) and we donāt have anyone to replace him is ludicrous
Yeah but it doesnāt have to be 30 now does it?Ludicrous? A bird in the hand and all that. Someone needs to kick them other than H&C. Our ability to share the load hasn't been a strength.
He got dropped when the mature bodied troops were given the all clear, what makes you think next year will be different?Yeah but it doesnāt have to be 30 now does it?
Moir played 2 games and averaged a goal a game. Maybe thereās 23 goals right there
Heās gonna have another pre season in his body, so heāll be objectively better prepared to hit a 23 game season. Better tank, hopefully more size built on tooHe got dropped when the mature bodied troops were given the all clear, what makes you think next year will be different?
Because he will be a year older. And I think he has the talent to make a difference. He got dropped when the mature bodied troops were given the all clear, what makes you think next year will be different?
He is a ball butcher.Jamaine Jones as a potential DFA worth a look imo.
No reason he canāt do it next season
Think he will, we missed him this season
Our forward line stank without Harry and Charlie. We need the 3rd forward option. We really didnt. Not once did I watch us play this season and think to myself, ooh, we really missed JSOS. Or JSOS would have made the difference there.

If he plays 18+ games FWD with Houston delivering the ball I reckon he willHis AFL playing history says its's a long, long shot to bag 30. Even if he plays every game. He's just not that good.
I reckon he'll leave if another club offers a reasonable contract.Sounds like it was a pretty mature decision by the club and Kennedy and is more about opportunity than any animosity.. It will be interesting what Matt does and if he will chase $ and a long term deal at somewhere like North or Richmond, or perhaps StKilda or Essendon who both lack his type of midfield.

fair point but there's now a Jack Martin shaped hole in the team that moir projects to fit into. He's got a very different skillset to JSOS, Kennedy, E Hollands and Cotterel his other HF competition and i'd say we'll play 3 of that list most weeks. He got dropped when the mature bodied troops were given the all clear, what makes you think next year will be different?
We will need to be patient with him.Moir is the one im hoping gets more games next season.
hit the gym hard
hit the tracks hard
everything else he already has. in his own hands a little. position will be there if he wants it.
Yeahā¦even Without Martin and owies we still have a long list to choose from ā¦We will need to be patient with him.
Next year hopefully more games but I still expect some time in twoās for him just because senior footy is so hard
But absolutely I believe he will be important for us in the future
Agree - we needed a third marking forward (either JSOS or Martin) all year. Forward line was poor at times given the strategies and lack of Plan B / C (tried only when injuries went back above 10 out). Our forward line stank without Harry and Charlie. We need the 3rd forward option.
I respectfully disagree, and people have agendas with Jack so nothing will change their minds with him
Of which 4 will likely be injured at any one time.Yeahā¦even Without Martin and owies we still have a long list to choose from ā¦

27 goals and 13 assists in 19 games.Harsher judge of Eddie's 2nd stint than I am
Will fit right in thenHe is a ball butcher.
Is it? Miers is a far better player than owiesI'd like to think Moir gets games, observation of the last few years tells me he'll get a handful at best. I'm torn on Owies, most important stat for a small forward is the goal column and by a fair margin.
