You need to hide the operation name as it is too obvious what the operation is about.

If the Allies called Operation Overlord "Operation Invade Normandy on June 6th, 1944" then it may have caused some problems.
The way you come on here and make light of freo getting Warner, waking us up to the fact we have no chance of him coming makes me a little bit sad.

I think Sharp is showing he can be a goal kicking wing, he was centimetres away from kicking 3 last week; which would have given him 9 for the season. Good enough for 10th among midfielders who have played more than 1 game.

Young showed skill in the area during preseason and MJ has taken a few shots in the last few weeks.

We have no one who has demonstrated they can do what The Chad is doing consistently this season, mass possessions and a threat for multiple goals every game.

And how the heck did Sydney end up with 2 Fremantle warners 😭

I reckon they mainly drafted the second one to keep Chad happy. Corey doesn't look AFL standard to me, but they'd happily keep him on the list for 10 years if it kept Chad there. Interesting dynamic in a trade and contract negotiations as they are both out of contract end of 2025. Do Sydney go full Warner and draft Ashton this year? Even though he doesn't look to be rated as draftable by any phantoms I have looked at.

We've clearly been making space in the cap for a big fish of some description, we have the draft capital, and with my main man Treacy doing his thing it really has opened up our options... I don't think Freo making a big play for Warner is as silly as it sounds.

Where does everyone get this idea we have loads of cap space? I think it’s the opposite. We’ve already signed up 6-7 players on big deals. We also have to pay the Freo tax to just keep guys here.

Because we lose as many as we keep and have been basically on record chasing McDonald. The big deals are long term to save on money.

We have space for one more big fish I reckon.

It was quoted as such in the media. Something like "cashed up Freo" etc. The long deals came with greater risk but lesser cost, I assume.

Sharp and Banfield have 9 and 11 goals respectively. Don't know what position Banfield would categorize as now, but that's still handy.

We have been giving players longer term deals for less $$

We would have atleast 800k sitting there for McDonald, it can go to someone else

Would probably be able to clear Brodie off the books too if we got in a midfielder

Lovely. Will Brodie is only 25, turning 26.

If we're in a position to get Warner or any midfielder at that age bracket, terminate JOM's contract. Use that money from the 2 years opened up, and bring the age demographic down.

I think Warner is turning into such a perfect combination of proven big game player, exactly what we need and just all round gun that if he's gettable, you put it all on the table and deal with the long term implications down the road.

The fact Cal said we've been actively chasing the whole time effectively is massive IMO. Much more chance of bringing a player in if you've been in their ear since the start then if you only seem interested because of recent form

Afl opening up longer term future trading too. 👀

Alright listen up shitbags...We're planning a top secret Operation henceforth known as Operation: No chance.

When people say Freo are no chance of getting 'No Chance' then we will all smile secret smiles of affirmation that the op is well underway.
