I'm happy to move on Brodie this season, he's not breaking back into the team.

Dogs came and had a look at him last season and have been trying to add midfielders, I'm not trying to suggest that they will pay anything of value for him but losing two mature bodies this offseason in Smith and Mccrae - Libba on a one year deal and 33 early next year - they will have holes to fill with either draftees or the likes of Will Brodie to wear the hits.

Hope so

I would think he is on 450k a season. Although not big money, then if not played why not move him on, on proviso that we don't pay his salary and freethe cash up for Warner or Pickett next season. Not saying we will land them but it gives us more cap space

...not if you stop playing them when they're sore or injured.
All NBA teams have load management, Ric Charlesworth won a women's hockey gold medal with that idea, and Geelong seems to be doing it a small level.

100% agree don't play injured players.

On 6 days breaks and long interstate trips you should looking to make load management decision.

Also, the vets and rookies would be benefit well timed breaks.

There's a video on YouTube showing what the ladder looks like if the close games were reversed. He does 6 points and 10 points. Long story short, we make finals.

That is my expectations of what Bolton, Baker and natural list improvement will bring.

Finals experience definitely has a value.
Just to rub salt into the wound we would also have pick 4 and pick 7 from Collingwood and Port.

I think Aish is better than O'Meara in almost every metric. Some will disagree of course, but that's my view.
