Ya know, the one we won a month ago, and the one we currently hold in the AFLW.

Why are we salty? The difference is the winner of the McClelland, criteria’s fault btw, doesn’t deserve to be called champion club. We are salty because we deserved to win champion club last year ahead of Melbourne. And we will be really dirty about it if the AFW lions win the premiership again this year. Imagine having both 2024 premierships and not winning champion club.

That is why we are salty and you aren’t.

Stop complaining - i don't necessarily agree with the way the combined minor premiership is calculated - but the minor premiership deserves much more recognition than it gets. Congrats Hawks.

If you beat the hawks, you would have had all 3 prizes - but appreciate the 2 you won without being "salty".

There are a bunch of men on Hawthorn's list who played <5 (or even zero) games this year. They will get the same prizemoney as Sicily etc.

As a protector of poor oppressed male millionaire athletes, would you like to sook about that too?

I always thought it was pro-rata'd so if you played no games you got the minimum amount, if you played every game you got the maximum.

That said, the guys on $600k or $800k probably like the extra $7k in their pay, but probably dont feel it as much as the girls who got a 20% bonus.

The McClenannd Trophy is fine, apart from the AFLW not having enough matches skewing things. Its a home and away award, always has been and there is nothing wrong with that.
If you want to argue that there should be another trophy for the best club on average post-finals, that's a fair argument to have. But its not the point of the McClennand.
