Eagles eye Freo flavour with Garlick on CEO shortlist
No player has made the straight swap between WA’s two AFL clubs for more than two decades - but the Eagles are set to sound out whether a CEO could make the cross-town move.thewest.com.au
Anyone got this article? Is this the west just being the worst again or anything in it?

Definately the loudest I'd ever experienced Subi Oval. Walter set shot goal leading on to Fyfe immediate clearance goal was just one continuous wall of noise.Best game I have ever been to. The atmosphere was electric as * that night and I don't think it will ever be topped.
Let him go, he's basically a non-eventEagles eye Freo flavour with Garlick on CEO shortlist

Lost my voice at 1/4 time! That was the best game I’ve ever been to bar none. Not sure where to post this..
On this date, 21st September 2023, is 10 years since the home preliminary final win v Sydney. What a night that was. Cannot believe it has been 10 years
And how would you know that, the AFL approached him also about a job so he must have some credentials.Let him go, he's basically a non-event
For one of the rare times that night felt like Fremantle were best club in the comp and a superpower basically where nobody would stop us.Not sure where to post this..

How good were the vibes in Fremantle when the game was won.And let’s not forget the Mexican Wave and the MCG chant which drowned out Pav’s post game interview.
I can remember people were skipping in the streets and singing as we walked along the road outside Subi oval after the game.
The euphoria experienced by Freo fans lasted right up to the first centre bounce of the GF. From that moment on it was replaced by fear about losing the game. And as we know the fear then turned to despair when we lost.
I still get goosebumps just thinking about it.Lachie Neale’s goal, then Mayne,to Barlow to Fyfe goalon the the run.
They were never in it.Should have put them to the sword. We let them back in - the beginning of that problem that plagued us for the next 3 years.
They were never in it.
They scored 5 cheap goals in final 5 mins as we were in self preservation mode.
It was a 10 goal victory.
We floated home on a Mexican wave....Definately the loudest I'd ever experienced Subi Oval. Walter set shot goal leading on to Fyfe immediate clearance goal was just one continuous wall of noise.
