hmmmm.....flights and hotel booked, trying to get my Good Friday ticket and buy 1 extra for Mrs DT......nope ticketmaster wont allocate more than 1 ticket. Afraid this is the end of the line for me as a paid up interstate member. Was easier to get golden circle tix for PJ at all 3 shows. Who'd have thought buying tickets to a footy game would be so hard. So looks like be taking the missus out to dinner or something instead....I hope stuff is open Good Friday in Melbourne these days?

I've got a spare I won't be using if you're interested.

I know it's old news now but man I can't believe how much prices have gone up. I was on a recurring good deal from an SEN membership a few years ago. Now that's gone and holy shit. No more 5 game memberships available either, so if i downgrade it's to a 3 😢. Bit of a nightmare in the current climate!

It’s now $689 for seven games (and ‘entry’ to four others.)

Least value out of any club.
Struth,,,,,do you get a say in team selection and list management at that price? And I felt a bit short changed being an interstate member getting "auto renewed" with no games being played in my state.

If I didn’t have absolute prime seats, I would’ve given it up a while back.

It’s becoming harder and harder to justify the exorbitant price when compared with other clubs.

When the other four games come back, they’ll be charging over $1,000 which is simply ludicrous.

I'm in exactly the same situation having to make exactly the same decision OP. I'll likely be going the 3 game option for a year or 2 and put the savings towards a full membership in 2-3 years time.

I switched off the auto renew late last year... & am a bit surprised I still have not got a call from the club about renewing. Maybe that will come closer to our 1st game.

It's funny, I've had 2 calls. Both said they understand my circumstances and said they'd work out a deal for me. Both then emailed me links to the membership page. I will renew, I always do. But crikey I have some stuff to work out before round 1!!

All these increases in prices and having to pre book seats to blockbuster games point to the fact that we are no longer minnows of the comp. WE ARE MASSIVE!!!!! and with this new found massiveness comes new found issues that only massive clubs have.

Everyone saw us pants the reigning Premiers last week and know that Clarko is taking us to the promised land. The bandwagon jumpers are hitching a ride as we speak and we are filling up fast. They see we are destined for greatness so it is time to shut up and buy a membership.

Denied being able to buy two guest passes for my kids in the premiership club bays yesterday (for Good Friday) because I have a reserved seat membership (rather than a reserved bay membership). On the call I asked for my membership to be changed to a reserved bay one and apparently it's all a little too late.

This is after I called on Friday and I was assured that even with a reserved seat that I could get re-allocated to the reserved bay and buy two guest passes (if my kids were Future Roos members which I signed them up to when this was mentioned).

So I'm down the cost of 2 memberships that my kids don't even need, those two new kids members can't go unless they sit on Level 1 on their own (they are 7 and 9 ffs), and I'll likely miss Good Friday in my ridiculously expensive reserved seat as I'll be home caring for the kids.

Guess I'll need to donate my membership for the game to my extremely obnoxious Blues brother in law who will be flat out awful in the Premiership Club (this is my apology in advance).

Bloody hell that's actually atrocious.

I've been in position 1 for 25 minutes.

Thank god I'm no longer in position 6 when I first rang in.

You should be so lucky. My son called them yesterday, recording came on…you are now in position number 186!!!!
By the time he got to position 1, he’d heard the club song more times than the 34 years he’s been alive.

Weird... I called up this morning to find out about getting two seats together for good friday. Tom advised that I should just log in and enter the code on the email and request two tickets.

initially I was asked for codes that came back as invalid, then Ticketmaster seemed to crash but when I relaunched it from the link it came up with two seat reservations (and I had not yet entered that request). I completed the transaction without having to enter the second member number and I now have two reserved seat tickets in my google wallet.

The amazing thing is that the last time I attempted to access Ticketmaster it wouldn't accept my password or anything so all I can say is... Ticketmaster is crap. I don't have a clue how I even got tickets today but I am not complaining.

So as an interstate member, I'd been trying to get my GA seat on level 3 and buy 1 other since they went on sale. Nope couldn't do it. Spoke to the membership department twice, and they squarely blamed ticketmaster. Spoke to them this morning for a third time again and they assured me I could buy another ticket for my wife. Nope. So after a bit of mucking around I figured out to do that, I had to upgrade myself to level 1, and then I could buy a ticket for my wife. So all in all, for my interstate membership, with no games in my state, I could pay an extra 120 bux, (plus my membership cost, flights and hotel) to see 1 game of footy in the year. No thanks,,,,,as it turns out, could pay 50 bux for 2 GA tix when they went on sale. Sorry NMFC its not ticketmaster its just blatant greed, and milking members loyalty for all its worth. Membership a complete waste of money when its easier and cheaper to just buy tix when they go on sale, no stuffing around with codes, and waiting lists, being on hold for 45 minutes with the membership department, being lied to, and the complete angst and time wasting of it all. I'll still support the club financially by buying raffle tickets.....at least there is some remote probability that I get a return on my financial outlay rather the drain that membership has been over the last 20 years since I left Melbourne.
