Why do these things always seem to happen at Monaco?
Because of the lack of overtaking, pit stops are much more crucial and therefore a lot more pressure to get things right.

Had the (mis)fortune of visiting Monaco for a day trip in Europe last month.

It is exactly how you imagined it to be in terms of traffic, parking, ambience and prices.

Still, being able to see and touch in person the parts of the circuit that you see so often on TV is quite an experience.
Ive driven in Monaco 5 days of the last 10 and today(thursday for me) was easily the best as far as traffic goes. Ive been on track for 4 of those days.

Monaco is a ****ing nightmare at anytime. But I agree with you, even after 12 years of going to Monaco, it does have some element of 'experience' that keeps it interesting.

Walked past Laurence Stroll as he got off of his tender today.

That should have been a penalty for Yuki. This no further action in practice is a joke when it is dangerous as ****. You can't cut across to the other other side of the track at the entrance of the tunnel when visibility is extremely poor. KMag did well to avoid a collision.
