I've heard Port are real keen on Bo Allen.

I've also heard we've had a couple of follow up interviews with Xavier Lindsay who I'm tipping will be around a mid teens pick in the draft.
Now to me, that makes perfect sense. Xavier is not only one if not the best kick in the draft but as a "winger" he would be perfect, we have tried a few people in that position and if we are really interested in him its because of three things.

1/ Apart from playing in the middle, he can play half back, or wing to a tee, with his class, cool under pressure and laser like passes, he would fill that position we have at times struggled in the past, Alastair loves great foot skills and trust me, this kid is the best, top of the class in front of maybe four others who aren't far behind, and their no mugs either.

2/ Tackling and clearance work, just because he's not one of the big names, Xavier can win the hard ball and break away, his tackling is very good and he has class.

3/ Endurance, when he gets on a roll he seems to be everywhere, think Finn O'Sullivan, now I think for an all round game Finn is pretty darn good and I think Xavier is not far behind him in that regard. If we picked him up, almost lock it in he's going straight to half back to finally free Harry to play elsewhere, you want elite kicking at half back, there's your man!

It's kind of same situation for us trading back though...we could get shafted with who we want
We won't get shafted, intel, LB2Snake, intel, without knowing 100%, we will have a very good idea on what players are linked strongly to clubs come draft night and the players we want, where they are being linked to {pick ?}, now of course the one in a million chance a team trades up or surprises everyone by taking one of our players early has a domino effect, a couple of other teams might do this and even if this happens two or three times before our first or second pick that means one of the higher rated players is left on the board.

So many things can happen and I've heard the Saints/Tigers and the Demons saying this or that and its an even draft, I'm not buying it, come draft night if our picks are still the same, something is going to happen from the opposition clubs, someone will buckle, that one player still on the board after Richmond take their prized pick #1 will be to tempting.

The most likely pick swap will be our F1 for one or multiple picks from Richmond.
I don’t think any other team will be looking to trade out of this years draft unless it is for something very heavily in their favour.
Richmond will almost certainly be looking to move one or more of their picks into the pointy end of 2025 draft.
I think we will be looking to keep pick 2, unless Richmond or someone else wants it bad enough that they overpay.

I’m kind of hoping nothin happens till draft night. I think the AFL would prefer it that way too.

Considering his back half of the season and his champs I’m surprised he is closer to the top 5 rather than 10-20 range. He has the potential to be in the top few of this draft class.

If we split 2 I wouldn’t be against taking him around 10, then going after
Some of the other talls (Faull, Gerreyn, M Whitlock, Sims & O’Farrell) with the later picks picks.

They’ve got 8 picks in the first 25……you know how I know???.….They keep f*cking telling everybody. It’s their draft and we are just part of it.
The Bukkake Trade Eon Party has gotten to them.
There’s a few ripping Tiger supporters on the other boards, but when you read half the sh!t that most of the others post you can almost see them in their tiger onesy yelling out at the footy that “North should just fold”

I only remember them from the 90's, still in the same seats, still living at mums no doubt, as you say have the jungle themed onesies in position A in their wardrobe.

I still see them on the train occasionally.

Ford has shown something at the level. Can mark in a pack/contest, can kick, has vision to hit up tagets, not slow and can play up forward and on the wing.
I like Mazda, and I think there is a good footballer in there, but he is either in the game or nowhere near it.

Needs to close the gap over the course of next year.

Is he an elite runner?

Yes, there is no doubt about this, the AFL don't want the draft to be quick, they want it to be drawn out and have some drama, why do you think when a clubs turn to pick they use the allotted time? I was going to ask that as it gets closer to the draft that someone put up the four players we pick, but we don't know the actual picks that we will be picking from, so this makes it extremely difficult, even more so if this all happens during the draft.

Yes. Endurance is very good, want to know how good, go back and watch "that final", between Metro and Country, was everywhere, 30 touches, 8 tackles, "oh" and by the way dragged down 11 marks to try and get Country across the line. Watch his kicking as well, then imagine him in a North jumper and how good he's going to be. One last point I'll make is IF we are into Xavier as one of our three players then that means 100% that none of the top six midfielders are in our thinking, no way we are going to take two mids with three picks in this draft when we are craving at least two talls, so this is interesting.
