It seems LDU leaving will be due to lack of success here, so you'd think he'd want to go to a better team that is ready for finals, I'm no expert but saints seems flip of the coin at best to be finals bound over next few years 🤷‍♂️

They’re a mid table team going nowhere.

How similar as a player and athletically is FOS to Kieren Harper?

I remember Harper was super athletic in testing for sprints and vert leap etc. Could do the mercurial, but just couldn’t find the footy at AFL level…and ultimately that was his downfall.

Edit: Just realised Harps was 187cm too, wow didn’t know he was that tall.

Injuries had a major impact on Harper not making it.

Below is a ripper. Apparently it's our ineptitude if Twomey is right, St. K miss out on their targets and we have to make do with the most talented player in the draft.

Hahaha this is certainly a take…comedy gold
Draft isn’t as fun when we don’t have 5 first rounders
See above. Or hang out in the aints draft thread, it’s still pretty fun, just a different sort of fun

Taurus disposal is below shit. His kicking is god awful, he makes buckets magoo look like Wellsy
Yeah but now we have proper coaching unlike when Buckets got drafted, so that can get better. Also he doesnt need to be a distributor. The reason why we've recruited McKercher, Daniel, Fisher Sheezel etc is so they provide the legspeed and penetrating kicks at ground level, while our big men do all the aerial work.

Umm. You get found out really bad in defence of your disposal isn’t up to scratch. And a number 2 pick should have great disposal, not below par.

That’s a massive call.

Sheezel and Colby had extraordinary first seasons.

They were good but Kerch in particular cost us goals from not being use to the position. Sheez less so but similar.

FOS attacks the footy and man like wardlaw light. He’s also a genuine intercept marking option. He may or may not = the drive out of defence as the other two but he’ll be able to play man on man much better imo

Quick one. What makes FOS rated higher than say Draper?
Nothing. I'd be happy with Draper at 2.
Our midfield is diverse enough that we can accommodate different types to compliment it.

They have different strengths.
