So you know Whitlock will be a bust? And you know our F1 will be top 3?

Or are just you just sooking?
Sooking. Lol.
A string of totally inept list management decisions has led us down the path to ongoing mediocrity.
And now we have basically coughed up what is, on all evidence, top three pick for Daniel, in the process severely compromising our ability to trade in the draft.
It's been a disaster class in recent years, and you're more worried about any critical analysis of it than the actual results
I hope we rise up ladder dramatically and I hope Whitlock becomes a star. I also hope Stevo Jr becomes a jet as we again failed to invest any capital in small forwards.
The second is quite possible, the first is highly improbable based in all current evidence to anyone dealing in reality.

We've cooked ourselves for next years draft if we cant trade into it next year (which I hope we can due to the compromised 2027 draft). However, I reckon the pickups this year are on point and might just set us up beautifully.
The other factor for next year's trading is the change to academy and father-son bid matching in which round 4 selections no longer carry points values and round 3 selections being worth considerably less points than the current values. That means teams with top-end academy and father-son prospects who want to trade out of the first round to avoid burning their pick completely will be eager to deal with teams holding second-round picks. That gives us an opportunity to get back into the first round.

We took two small forwards this trading/draft.
