Not sure how it was moronic. You were diminishing Mabior Chol by saying he was at his third club and wasn’t wanted by the other two. That was the exact same position as Matt Spangher who came to us as a sometimes maligned journeyman (the howls of ‘he’s a spud!!’ were all over social media, as well as a handful of posters here when we got him). He went on to be a cult hero and premiership player. More than aware that he never wore the 23, but that was never the point I was making. Sorry the fairly clear point I was making escaped you.

Used to be then without fail but last year they got announced with the video packages of the older player/Hathorn linked family chatting with the new number recipient around the same time in early December. I think the club is letting everyone in on it now not just those who get to the fan day.
