Its a QB friendly system for a QB willing to be a "game manager" which Rus wouldnt take the ego hit. Its hard for somone to fail in the Payton offence, lots of cheap yds and stretch zones to make gaps and comeback into them.

Nix never had the highest ceiling, but had a higher floor then others. He is a mid range QB like a Winston or Carr.

Yeah solid as you like now to be fair to the others he's entered a great system that always helps.
