That they control their own destiny to the one seed, and basically get no attention, is wild really.

We have earned the 'believe it when we see it' reputation in regard to the post season though, so I get it.

I wasn't bagging the Vikes at all, just highlighting some of the comparisons to the season two years ago. Been an excellent season all things considered, no one expected you to be where you are with Darnold as QB1 for the entire season. Feel like youre playing with house money a bit with all the attention on the Eagles and Lions.

Oh, I wasn't saying anyone was wrong.

Was just a point about how you can go from 'hopeless' to people trying to cut it down because of how far above expectations you went. People scoffed at Kwesi's 'competitive rebuild' stance, but you would have to say so far, he is doing ok. Better than old mate who was going to 'Take the North and Never Give it Back'

No doubt once the fall comes there will be the usual abundance of talking head experts who 'told you so' :p

Speaking of King Poles, seems a lot of stuff coming out lately laying a lot of blame on him. Could be on the way out the door. Its either that or you need to extend him to be in line with the next coach hire. (at least thats what a functional organisation would do)

Id favour him getting fired but its the Bears so who knows, they could easily extend him if they want to go the cheap and cheerful route with a coach as is often the case with them. I think the big name coaches would want their own GM and I dont think Bears ownership is fond of giving out that much power, see Jim Harbaugh last year.

Yeah, unfortunately for him, the pressure the comes with taking highly touted QB at 1 isn't only reserved for the player and a lot of his moves or in some cases lack thereof hasn't panned out so well so far.

I think he gets another go with a new HC etc. but if that starts to trend the wrong way again...

Recent form is most important form and can’t argue about sos when Eagles have beaten Commanders, Rams, Ravens and Steelers in their last five games. Think the way their D handled Steelers second half and passing game first half shows they’re well rounded. See Packers a threat. Lions D just gets more depleted even though O still performing brilliantly. Goff not getting enough credit.
Bills team to beat in AFC.

All this talk about strength of schedule and how high the Vikes can finish has me remembering how we were pretty heavily favored to be battling around the bottom of the division and projected as a bottom 5 team. Well done Kwesi, KOC, Flores and Co.

Of course, you always want to go as far as you can and we will see, I have my own doubts come the pointy end same as everyone else, but have already done a pretty masterful job this season. Let's see how much of it is sustainable going forward.

Indeed. Don't forget that Vikings PTSD is real 😂

Actually started to come around to your way of thinking during yesterday's game AmericanCrow after watching Fitzpatrick go straight for Saquons leg joints Chubb style, Washington drive a corner back into the endzone wall for no good reason, and that hip drop that injured AJ.

Dirty Pittspuke deserved their beating.

Plus the longsnapper penalty, played dirty all game.

I can't be the only one who is hearing 2 different commentaries, right? How have they not fixed it yet?

These Spanish guys just do not stop talking, it's a million miles a minute, the whole time.
