I'm with A11dAtP0w3R here's a list of worst to best owners and I would recommend avoiding any team in the top half:

32) David Tepper, Carolina Panthers
31) Woody Johnson, New York Jets
30) Mark Davis, Las Vegas Raiders
29) Jimmy Haslam, Cleveland Browns
28) Amy Adams Strunk, Tennessee Titans
27) Shad Khan, Jacksonville Jaguars
26) John Mara and Steve Tisch, New York Giants
25) Virginia Halas McCaskey, Chicago Bears
24) Dean Spanos, Los Angeles Chargers
23) Jim Irsay, Indianapolis Colts
22) Michael Bidwill, Arizona Cardinals
21) Stephen Ross, Miami Dolphins
20) Mike Brown, Cincinnati Bengals
19) Greg Penner, Denver Broncos
18) Cal McNair, Houston Texans
17) Jody Allen, Seattle Seahawks
16) Josh Harris, Washington Commanders
15) Sheila Ford Hamp, Detroit Lions
14) Gayle Benson, New Orleans Saints
13) Glazer Family, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
12) Jerry Jones, Dallas Cowboys
11) Denise DeBartolo York and Jed York, San Francisco 49ers
10) Arthur Blank, Atlanta Falcons
9) Zygi Wilf, Minnesota Vikings
8) Stan Kroenke, Los Angeles Rams
7) Terry Pegula, Buffalo Bills
6) Green Bay Packers, Inc.
5) Steve Bisciotti, Baltimore Ravens
4) Jeffrey Lurie, Philadelphia Eagles
3) Art Rooney II, Pittsburgh Steelers
2) Robert Kraft, New England Patriots
1) Clark Hunt, Kansas City Chiefs
Way too generous to the McCaskeys
Definitely in the 30s
Useless campaigners.

They suck, they are bad but not criminal bad, if they moved the team to pocket some cash from a new city i would agree, but top 11 is fair. It just shows how bad some of the others are.

Mark Davis also should be praised for what hes done. He (kinda fell into it accidentally) got the Raiders from a 1b value in shithole Oakland to a 10b+ value in Vegas. Didnt have to spend a dime (that he didnt have) to build the stadium), now its a gold mine for profits. He also isnt a micromanging owner. He tries to hire the right people and lets them do their job - validating their job or getting found out....but at least he stays back. He just needs to learn to hire the right people, to identify the right people.

Im not a Raiders fan, but hes been good for them.

Best owners are the obvious ones...where the org is "perennially" a football club that performs well on the field due to all the internal structures

Since when?

You used to be.
That shows how long since you been around :(

TL;DR... I'm a whore.

Been what? Six or seven years since i dumped them? Went thru a period supporting various other teams (29 of the 32) to feel what it was like supporting them so as to also find that team that felt right for me, etc.

Dolphins will always stay my #2 because of my ongoing never fading love affair with Dan Marino...but Steelers in the end was the one....highly traditional type of team, never change their unis, have a great history of HoF players (many of whom i already grew up watching), old school in their ways, have a mad local fanbase, wont relocate, isnt some trendy fashion brand in the Australian market, focuses on playing football and not making noise in the media, plays hard-nosed football both sides of the ball, has a fierce rivalry or cool division, etc

Like I say...AFCN is very interesting.... it's the Steelers versus three versions of the Browns.

Same process used when i decided to recently follow soccer, rugby and stick to an AFL team. Calling on similar traits, traditional, old school etc and memories of the past (eg, Wally Lewis in the QRL, Francesco Totti, Alan Shearer, etc.)

Don't forget continuity. Tomlin is only their third HC since the merger - 54 years ago. Mind blowing!
