Young has looked so much more composed since coming back in as a starter, that benching earlier in the year did him the world of good. Dunno if he'll ever be a top tier QB but he could be a Kyler Murray type, competent enough.
Despite both being short I think hes a bit different to Kyler. But yeah, dont think hes ever going to be a top 5 QB.

It is starting to look like a win for the Panthers. And that says everything you need to know about the bears.

Since coming back from getting benched Young has been good. Not many young QBs get benched and the talk is about him being traded and the FO has given up on him and then bounce back. Full credit to him, I didn't think he had it in him.
I wouldnt call it a win. Still think we got fleeced. Ben Johnson would probably make that offense look pretty good if they pay up for him. It is very amusing though after all the flexing Bears fans did over that trade (not here, on twitter) that we have the same record. Agree on Bryce, thought he was done. QBs rarely bounce back from how bad he was over his first season and a half, confidence gets lost for good. Im not fully convinced yet but im slowly coming round.

How is Josh Allen favourite for MVP?

He had Another bad performance against the Pats. Already had 3 games with a passer rating below 75 prior to then and is yet to have a passer rating in any game above 150 this year.

Lamar is clearly the better.

Josh Allen is clear mvp for me.

Allen has least talent around of him of the 2 of them. Raven's have a worst record than last year and added hof rb henry in off season.
Josh is the more valuable player take him out of bills lineup they struggle to be .500 take lamar out of ravens they still make playoffs.

But biggest thing for me is loses each of the QBs have had.

Bills loses - Ravens, Rams, Texans all tough away games

Lamar's loses - Raiders at home, Browns away, Steelers away, Eagles at home, Chiefs away - two of teams lamar lost to are terrible teams. The browns, raiders currently have 5th and 6th worst record in nfl.

Plus Allen is only guy to beat the chiefs plus the 2nd best team in league in lions.

Interesting excuse for barely beating one of the worst teams in the league

Show what? Allen got a bunch of Madden cheat codes he is keeping up his sleeve? The Bills will live and die in the playoffs based on Allen's ability to ad lib not outstanding scheming.

Is it just me or have there been more savage knee injuries this season than usual?
Dont think its been any different to any other year. What has been noticeable to me though is that running backs have avoided them for the most part in terms of significant injuries, most of them going to wide receivers instead which is a bit weird.

Josh Allen is 6-2 in games with a passer rating under 100. (Carried by his team!!!!).

Lamar is 0-5 in games with a passer rating under 114. (Not carried by his team!!!!). The Ravens D has been so bad that Lamar has to be an elite level passer for the Ravens to win.

The only other QB to throw for 37+ TDs and only 4 INTs was Rodgers in 2021. He won MVP.

Still doesn't make up for the fact lamar has lost to raiders and browns who combined record is 6-26 this year.

This is an important factor in subjective awards....look at the college ranking systems...quality of wins and losing performances should be the main determinants.

Some of the plays that he made against us were extremely impressive, that one in the endzone on the last drive in particular.
