Leave it as it is. If they're f--king stupid enough to offer these contracts, then they should wear the consequences!

Would normally agree but the Watson situation only punishes one group - the fans.

Where possible fans need to be protected from these ****ing idiots so there needs to be reasonable get out clauses for all parties.

The NFL will write a law forbidding fully guaranteed contracts in the future
PA would never take it. The NFL is the only sport in the major US that doesnt have fully guaranteed deals

Goddamn this weird nothing part of the year.

I'd set my alarm for the Eagles in the morning, was flicking through Kayo for something to watch after the cricket, realised there were college games on ESPN in the morning and not the Eagles.

And then it dawned on me waaay too slowly that I was a day early.

It also punishes the broadcasters who are paying for competitive games, having a team with that much dead cap that much into the future is handicapping them against the league.

Weird, he practiced yesterday. Think this is more just niggles and making sure they have him for next year with Brooks already down, if it was a significant game he'd be out there. Wouldnt surprise me if the knee bit goes all the way back to the Giants game over a month ago.

The best way for fans to have a say is to not turn up to games. But most of them are idiots who keep handing over money to the team no matter what. You see Browns and Bears fans turn up constantly only to be shit on by ownership year after year. Got to give ownership a reason to change.
