Struggling to rate the giants. They had a bulldogs esque run last year but just like the dogs im just not seeing the hype. They're an ok bottom half of the 8 side who will be making up the numbers.
Carlton will buckle, they're not winning 3 finals games in a row. It's going to be a swans pies granny.

So now Carlton are lumped with us as having "daylight" between them and the chasing pack? The same Carlton that is effectively 3 wins back while we have a game in hand. The same Carlton that we defeated by 50 points. That Carlton.
The Victorian media really are desperate to have a big Vic contender. It’s absolutely sickening. I bloody hope we win the flag this year. It’s almost non negotiable atp.

They can trouble us on their day but I've seen nothing to suggest we're not 4 to 5 goal better side than them.
They won't be getting first use of the ball like that against Grundy and our midfield. Their high pressure game also seems to fade out quickly in the 2nd half which is when we absolutely cut teams apart (just like we did to them to the tune of 50 points).
Obviously it's a different ball game at the G and with the umpires in their pocket but we're still comfortably better based on everything we've seen this year

Yeah I love how everyone claims it's a non factor on grand final day, yet I've seen numerous blues and pies supporters say "they won't beat us at the G"

Well that was a slaughter. Blues were playing a very Richmond style game. Cats simply didn't have the skill level to go with them. Even before half time it was obvious where this game was going.
The Blues game of get the ball on at all costs, no matter how & keep the ball moving by handball is very quickly. But against a really prepared opponent it could easily come unstuck. Intercepts can hurt you very badly in this sort of game because the field behind you is open & there are opponents out. But if it comes off it is chaos bliss.
The Cats are struggling through jack of top end talent & old buggers. Happens to every side eventually. They will try to buy their way out but the reality is they will no longer be a destination club. Their list is not a premiership list & players at the top end looking for a trade will be looking for a chance to play in a premiership & Cats are way off that. They need to rejuvenate the list through the draft. Earlier in the season everyone was talking them up as a top 2 contender but the reality was;
Who had they played? Their draw was easier than drawing a stick figure.
I think Blues, Hawks, Bombers, Pies are the real dangers to us.
