2022 was a shocker of a draft year for us. We got Konstanty, Mitchell, Vickery, Owen and Maigor. Only Mitchell has managed a debut.
Compare with GWS who got Cadman, Rowston Jones, Gruzewski and McMullin who have all debuted. We could have got any of the last three for the Konstanty pick.
Oh well, hindsight I guess

To be fair though you’d hope a pick 1 gets games lol, Rowston is an academy. Jones looks an astute pick though
Crazy thing is, brisbane could win the next 2 and still miss out on top 4 if the others win all games.
I think we just worry about ourselves and get another win. Essendon in melb anything is possible, but we really should be putting Adelaide to sleep. Lose both of those and we're dead in the water anyway.

Yep. Hopefully we just win against Essendon and then we can manage maybe Hayward, maybe Gulden or Warner in the final round.
But gws and lions both have losable games next week so it may not matter

I get where you are coming from. But to not get a single AFL semi regular out of 5 picks is pretty ordinary drafting. I actually think Mitchell is a strong de-list chance. His VFL form has been poor with his kicking in particular not up to standard. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if all of that crop is gone by season's end.
