I'll be surprised, we are already exposed by Geelong's small forwards. We are likely to play Garcia as a lockdown small defender than Arie.

The one caveat is If Battle doesn't get up then he's a good chance.

The Arie bashing was out of control…love to see him make it at the elite level, he’s a bit of a lad but can play!!
Arie's become a cult figure, the modem day David Boon. The Arie bashing is just good old fashioned ball busting. Just short, casual and jocular conversations

We have a few options , Bonner , Windhager , Stocker , Jones - but I like to see what they do to stop our runners like Hill , Henry , Wood , Byrne on top of that there back line will need to be at the top of there game because King , Sharman , Membery , Higgins , Owens are going to be very difficult to contain.
Add on our seasoned performers like Marshall , Steele , Crouch it just might be the first time I feel we are are more of a chance of defeating the Cats at there home.

I’m sure the boss will load our side with all the elite runners at our disposal..Wilson, Byrnes, Henry, Wood, Windhager, Nas, Hill, Bonner will all be in.
Love to see Sinclair added but that’s unlikely!

But the potential!

I work in a corporate consulting business and our practise often has to attain proof of concept - does it work?

In terms of proof of concept our guiding principle is “fail fast”. As soon as it is apparent something is not optimised we go with something else.

I think Saints could use a bit of that discipline.

Riley was the scapegoat for every Port loss, he didn't fit the Port mantra of a bash and crash player. Hinkley didnt use his talents or weapons. Bonner wont win you the hard inside footy, but get it to him on the outside and he will cut you up as you are all seeing now. Ross & Co obviously see his strengths which all good coaches do. Again as a fan Im so happy for him.
Players that can hit a teammate with 40 metre bullets & can kick goals on the run from outside 50 don’t grow on trees!

But the potential!
Another guy that has gone to a club that is loaded with his type of player and position , instead of money they should be looking at where they can get into a team and make a difference.
Then they can think about the coin and extend there football career.
Billings could easily disappear in a couple years like Dunstan did.
Really disappointing for a guy we gave every chance too.
He is most probably regretting moving there now.

Ross and SOS didn’t want him, not many other clubs were interested. He really had no other choice to try and save his career.
