I reckon if things click, Allison is our answer to Mason Wood

He has always been a great athlete, he is just not a natural footballer and struggles to find possessions. He is not a strong mark, cant win ground balls and he struggles with the physicality of the game. He missed all of last year after looking good in last years pre season, so hopefully something clicks and we get to see him play some decent footy. If he does make it I think it will be as a tall wingman, I cant see him playing in any key position roles despite his height.

Nice to see that all board members (Finnis excepted) attended all meetings they were eligible to attend. For instance, in 2016 only 5 of the 9 board members attended all meetings, with one of them only bothering to show up to 6 out of 9 meetings.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but the difference between 2016 attendance and 2023 attendance is explained by the advent of Zoom/Teams etc.

He played a few VFL games towards the end of the year with zero distinction, but agree his season was affected by injury

Rubbing lettuce on his head three times a day and a child and garlic compound?

It’ll be a shock if he can make it realistically. He’s been poor at vfl level, including 5 disposal games where you looks below the level. I think people are impressed he’s still doing what he can though.

100%

Some on here think because he can run that he can play , Not true and anyone that compares him to mason wood needs to go to spec savers , You will not see Allison standing in the hole in defence getting pole axed like Mason

Unfortunately, from what I observed at training this year, he is miles off the pace (Max Heath the same).

We all hope he has a breakthrough year, but cannot understand what the last regime saw in him to extend his contract - bewildering!
The legacy decisions are coming to an end over the next year or so thankfully

Has looked ok from what I have seen.

Nobody said because he can run he can play, that's just the usual Risky nonsense.

Personally he doesn't show enough for seniors but for people who haven't seen him for 12 months to outright dismiss him is sheer ignorance and mighty arrogant.

His running capacity is a massive weapon, especially for his size, but from all I've seen from him through the VFL he just cannot find the pill. Doesn't win his own ball, or get in to appropriate spots to be used on the outside. Athletically he would be great as a backman, but he doesn't have the footy IQ for it I don't think. Well at least nothing I have seen over the years has suggested as much.

I would like nothing more than for him to succeed but bookmark it - he will be gone at the end of 2024.

If he’s gone end of the year so be it but he showed something this time last year then missed 5 months with his foot injury.
Hope he has a great pre season

But what did he do last year? He ran a good time trial

Watched him at a few times playing at Sandy and he is very good at getting where the ball isn’t

I hold hope for Moose at least he loves a contest and has a red hot crack, but I believe if Mitch Edwards (WA ruckman) had of been available at #33 when we took Hastie we would have taken him. Unfortunately Geelong took him the pick earlier - but lets hope Hastie become the next Sammy Gilbert.
