Pity some of the people on this forum have to just be tossers pr be nasty because of a lack of knowledge on a subject. The Brains Trust is a group of people watching the saints at most sessions. We named ourselves the prez DIDNT. Yes, we take the piss out of ourselves! We like a laugh. We not only support the club but we look after each other. If one of us is sick we find out what we can do to HELP. If you dont know the FACTS about something then keep your trap shut. Plain n simple.

I reckon the Brains Trust caps look great and just people having a laugh.
Asked about them privately as would like one myself.

I'd like the club to make them available through the gift shop tbh as think they would sell ok.

Wilson’s an incredible runner, already best at the club…will likely start as a high half forward then shift to a wing role.

How was his skills in match sim today? I have been a bit critical of his skills during drills, but under a bit of pressure in sim match conditions he looked pretty bloody good.

I have seen a defender do that at training many times. I have seem it in matches. It was really bad luck, Howard didn't mean to injure him, it was an accident.
However it is known that Lyon doesn't like contact pre season. First time this preseason I saw any type of contact contest was today and it was all pretty mild.
Again if you had ever taken the time to actually go to training, you would see Lyon isn't on the field for the whole time, he is in the rooms occasionally, or in the dugout talking to the analytics and fitness coaches. If he had of seen Howard impeding King prior to the accident, he would have stopped training and told Howard not to do it. I have seen him stop training numerous times for less.
So it's not a 'rumour' Howard injured King. It is a fact. It I also a fact Howard did not mean it. So cut you crap out and understand that people have more of an idea than you do, because they actually make an effort.

I'm not denying that Howard was in the drill where King got injured.
It was originally presented as intentional through petulance, then a yank in frustration, and today I was told was accidental.
It just seems the more people are pressed on the facts the story changes.
Maybe just a study in people blindly believing anything they're told.

Woodside pub was closed and decrepit for a fair while, word was that there were some footy players who invested in the rehashed establishment.

If we are talking Woodside Vic it was Josh Dunkley and a group of other locals bought the pub and refurbished it. Nowadays its a great spot for lunch.

He said, whilst it was an accident, it shouldn't have happened. Dougal grabbed the arm in frustration and max got injured because of it.

Nah I think its been established that an Assistant Coach was at fault for giving confusing messages as to whether it was a contact or no contact drill.

Max thought it was no contact, Dougal thought it was mano o mano.

I'm thinking a club friendly rate for Battle should be a fair bit more than a club friendly rate for Byrnes or someone.

Given it's only December in 2023, l doubt the club has made any offers at all just yet.
And the source, who so far has enough runs on the board to be afforded grace in these matters, is already known to you.
Ask him to let you in to the PM group, l hear the shrimp cocktails are to die for.
