Where to start?

We were tentative again early and it escalated in that quarter with the trailing of opponents all over the ground. To allow so much short passing without contest from backline to full forward line multiple times is an indictment on our whole playing group.

The biggest stick must be taken to Chad Cornes and his forward line. Not only has Dixon been dreadful, he has completely paralysed the rest of the forward line. He has jumped against Ratugolea, crowded the space for the small forwards and caused Georgiades to double guess whether to go for the ball. If we don’t drag Dixon from now and sub him out, we will lose this by 40 points plus. Replace him with Evans and take a different approach to forward 50 entries and we may have a chance. A good coach wouldn’t hesitate about making this move. Just do it.
