(UPDATE - Both Phillips and Manginess have been named in both squads. Not many Hawks players are named in the Box Hill side. Interesting how this one plays out)

Both Ethan Phillips $102k (DEF) and Finn Manginess have been named in the Box Hill squad rather than Hawthorns.

Concerning for Phillips and his chances of being ahead of Sam Frost looking slimmer and slimmer.

Finn Manginess not in the squad at all even with Days absence suggests Sam Mitchell may be swaying away from the tag. Potentially something to consider in the starting Nick Daicos $650k (DEF/MID) or not discussion.

I think this is also hugely positive for Henry Hustwaite $184k (MID). The wraps on this kid coming out of Waverley are huge, a 195cm midfielder who has it all. Could be a genuine on field rookie for us and currently only in 3% of sides.

It's an 8 quarter match. First 4 quarters are Hawthorn the last 4 are Box Hill.some of these guys will probably play half of each.

Yes he’s close. Been impressive over preseason and thankfully thrown him back to defence again.
