100%. Midpricers rarely come off and are hard to pick anyway. And if one does you'll nearly always have an under performing premo you can trade to him.

My new rule is I won't pick any midpricer (250-400) that hasn't scored at a premo level before. I did some analysis and if you applied that across the years it would have served you well. Breakout midpricers are rare and hard to pick. Better off waiting for them to prove it then getting them.

• The KFC SuperCoach AFL season will begin in round 1, and not in Opening Round.
• Opening Round stats will be taken into account for price changes and live scoring in some form will be available to SC Plus subscribers during the four matches.
• It will best 18 scoring for all bye rounds, including the two-team bye weekends in rounds 2, 3, 5 and 6.
• Any changes in the number of allocated trades will be confirmed in January, along with full gameplay details for 2024.

Variation 2. Essentially upgrades Williams to Young by getting Dusty instead of Jackson, and replacing Williams and Comben with rookies.
Not convinced I like this version better, just couldn't help but consider the alternative. Main regret is I couldn't fit in Butters.

Interesting with the Rd 1 solution, has its drawbacks in terms of some teams and starting selection viability, but on the main they had to pick their poison

Being thin-skinned and having to do customer service for feral numpties like us that can piss and moan for three days about why a 1m handball with three seconds to go didn't shift the needle or the scale injustices don't go together.
