Any feedback on my team? I've gone for value in F3-F6, I think I will be one of the ones risking on Jackson but I'm still thinking about it. I had Sheezel in, but upgraded him too Houston.

Newk will be my POD, as a hawks supporter I'm gonna keep in here and hopefully make for a good lower % owned pick.

With $35,300 in the bank are there any rookies on the bench I should upgrade into?

Having money left over is OK, 400k is a lot.
Do you have a specific plan involving not starting a Rd 2/3 player and then bringing them in after that first bye, e g.?
If not, I would look to invest in upgrading in 1-2 positions, personally.
Have a look and see what your early bye round situation is; if it's OK in Rd 3/5/6, you might be able to start one more premo you like from that round.
Or you might be able to go up from a mid-400's midpricer to a fully fledged premo etc.
If you want people to suggest stuff, post your side.

Would put Jordon on-field in FWDs.and move Wilson to bench in MIDs, Roberts on-field.
Monitor Sharp carefully, you might have to swap him out.
Nothing wrong with Newcombe POD.
Have both Houston and Sheezel, if you only have funds for one, you can look at Houston down to Sheezel, maybe a base rookie like Sharp to Hustwaite, but that's not a must or anything.
Somebody else might have better ideas.

OK, nice side.
For me, Duursma up to a Touk Miller / Jack Steele type would be one option that immediately springs to mind. Your MID line on-field is otherwise a bit too weak.
Duursma likely won't be that lucrative a rookie, definitely wouldn't have him on-field if you keep.
Lazzaro on-field for Clark maybe.

Ive been reading the videos on Youtube im happy to keep Fisher as I reckon he gets alot of points playing off half-back in Supercoach. I also happened to watch him in the game against the Saints pre-season.


Im also happy to keep Heeney, as having Mills away for most part of the season means he plays inside mid. Parker is also injured.

Been completely out of the loop, not being able to watch all the opening-round games and not keeping up over preseason (as much as I usually do). So, have gone very basic. Waiting for teams to drop to decide which rookies are on field. Tossing up between Green and Butters (would have to change Darcy to a 102k player if so). Not 100% set on Stewart. 1805 projected score. Any feedback is appreciated.

Pat Cripps in pre season was discussing someone that he was more aware of the SC scoring , compared to Fantasy.


Im tempted to bring him in over Nic Martin.

I feel like SC and his price of $540k is a better value than Nic Martin at $492k.

Thought he was best on ground at the GABBA last week.

Good side.
Darcy played VFL praccy, seems less likely to get a game(?), but you have Wilson to move across the lines to grab a J Clark or whoever in the midfield.
Wouldn't go two 103kers in any case, swinging Livingstone down and grabbing Naismith another option.

1 crazy practice match and everybody that doesn't have him, gets him in. One quiet round and everybody is culling him.

Leaving aside that Grundy had a clear and effective plan that won't work for many others, you just know Gawn is going to smash out a ridiculous score in the next few weeks and start making max cash to put him out of reach for those that went elsewhere.

No guarantees but in case you need a refresher on Gawn's round 1's as sole ruck:

2022 R1: 92, End of Year (EOY) ave: 113
2021 R1: 93, EOY: 121
2020 R1: 93, EOY: 140
2019 R1: 87, EOY: 128

Agreed, but he also has a high as BE. People could potentially get him even cheaper in a few weeks, before he explodes again. He needs to average in the high 130s every week to avoid the drop. Safe to see how he goes for a couple of more weeks without the risk of being priced out of getting him in if other options flop.

Low one stays in for one price change only.
He will likely drop initially, but a low score in Rd 1 (or 0) is the least significant over the year.
