Top 4 - maybe. He’s in contention for the last spot. But, quite behind the first 3 rucks IMO

How many round zero players is too many?

Have managed to avoid any byes in round 2, but a few for each of 3,4 & 6.

If Macrae plays round 1 he's in.

I'm mighty tempted by NWM, Wines, Amon (love his new role), Rankine, Mcluggage and Jackson.

Yes they are Eno, as well as Jordon and Roberts ....it does make best 18 harder with too many bods sitting on the pine

But we're not sheep .....I have Tom Green as my R0 Premo ....and only Jordon / Roberts as the others .....total 3 x R0 players

IMO ....one premo maximum per round .....so Gawn / Petracca and Daicos / Grundy isn't great

From R1 we have the strongest scoring rookies avail to us (generally) .....so that helps

To add. Coleman is my D6. Newcombe M2 & Berry M5. Gawn R2. Fisher F1. Really strange looking side but i like it.

An alternative view (based more on facts) is that he was very good until 2022, which got him a ridiculous contract that blew out Collingwood's salary cap, and got traded on the back of that contract disaster. His mistake was choosing the team that needed him least (aka the Braydon Preuss move) and due to that failed experiment, he was immediately moved on. So, essentially one substandard season because of Gawn.

I think Grundy is a good selection at the price, but perhaps Xerri is better value as he will score well as no 1 ruck at North.

If you count dump kicks as your measure as very good , then I’ll leave it here as I was screaming on the Collingwood forum to get rid of him in 2020. He is as useful as an ashtray on a motorbike.

Hate spending more than $150k on the bench, but I think McKercher and Lazzaro are good options. Hard to bench Wilson and Sexton for them though.

Depth like that is a decent idea this year I think. You will use it for most of the bye rounds

Current team after the Comm Series.

Waiting for R0 before confirming Tom Brown. Not too happy with Coffield or Reid either, but it is what it is.

Also not sure if Steele is the one I want to roll with in Mid, or if Crouch/Wines is a better option.

This is my q on Berry - would be an absolute special if he gets a guaranteed 6-8 week block.

I think a lot of us are most likely going to wait for DPP additions given the apparent glut of mid-price and rookie forward options presenting themselves, Scoops.

If Jack Macrae had have had an uninterrupted pre-season he’s pretty much the only one that I can say with any certainty that would be a top 6 forward this season, barring injury of course. I had him locked at F1 and Flanders at F2.

Unfortunately I like different players in their price bracket on other lines who I think have a better role, so I have temporarily sacrificed them to make way for a couple of gulls.

Yeah, think there has been a huge shift to Z Fish / Fyfe F1 scenarios and beefing up other lines.
Fair few are using that to fund Bont and N Daicos, I reckon
Not getting value, but defo getting quality

On current form, yes ....Berry is killing it, and we know he's a contested beast and tackling machine .....has added some pace & is extremely fit at present

Will just have a think about where I want the rookies exposed on field and where.
Everything will change potentially depending on how Grundy, Jordon, Daicos, Gullden, Zilliams etc. go anyway....
