It’s because the siren went, the umpire in control calls time to end the quarter.
While it is clear that Cameron ran off the line, the umpire did not call play on.
I’ll just say, again, the stand rule has made the whole mark process an absolute farce. Players 45 degrees off the line being allowed to stand there and play on being called far too late, when players have effectively gone past the man on the mark. It is my biggest hate atm.

Most complete performance we've put in for ages. Being a scarred supporter I still had distant choking fears towards the end but they were clearly misplaced as the boys actually finished the job and didn't allow the comeback at the end. Really reassuring to see.
Bloody rapt for TDK and Cincotta. Walsh had another one of those games where I felt like I didn't see him much but he had a bajillion touches. Cripps with 41 without a mark apparently.

Best of the season by far.
Emphatic powerful performance and the scary thing is where only just awakening.
Dekoning/walsh cripps unbelievable!
Cinc brilliant!
I’m gunna send a special little shout out to durds. The last two weeks he’s come on and really showed some of that form from a couple of years back. Really pressuring and strong intent and just looking a lot more dangerous/engaged.

Can I play devils advocate? They also put their hands in the air exactly like that to signal the end of the quarter when tue soren is heard..

I don't understand the Tuohy hate, or the boos last night. He was a very good player for us, didn't want to leave and was pretty much pushed out the door, and is far from being a dirty player.

Owies is so underrated
Loving Owies and Durds out there. They are part of the story. Two great young fellows that were giving there all before the rewards of good wins began.

The teamwork for Walshy’s goal was great and already mentioned. But anyone else think the Fog/Owies teamwork goal with Owies finishing it was as good if not better?

I thought so. It was brute force, great skill and perseverance.
TDK and Cripps I think spent a bit of time on the bench during the second part of the third quarter. Follows a pattern the last few weeks, where TDK and some of our engine rooms players have a bit break at the end of the 3rd.
We came out again and obliterated the opposition early in the last. This is definitely a strategy.
A great even performance...but it comes in handy having the best 6 players of any team in the comp.
