Solid win, especially given North's accuracy and our players getting injured, which kept interrupting our momentum.

'Roos have been playing well lately, so I'll take the win.

We'll be better against Port, especially as Charlie is getting back into form.

I may be being a bit harsh but thought he showed 2 things. 1 was being lost and 2 when he wasn't lost he was air swinging at spoils. Close to horrible.

Agree. Can’t believe I’m saying this but would prefer Young if we are going with a second genuine tall. Horrible with ball in hand but can spoil and take occasional mark.

Positives: We found a gear when required in the 3rd term & we got the 4 points.
Negatives: Defensively dissapointing especially after the chatter doing the week, Injuries.

Not sure where we are at but 1 off week from here and we are heading to sydney or brisbane for an away qualifying final as brisbane wont lose again in the H/A season.

-Still some issues with our defence but thought Durdin was decent and improved us structurally. I think Kemp should come in for Cowan who wasn't great this game.
-Walsh and Cerra need to lift, they're playing well below what is expected from them. Walsh in particular is struggling to adapt with the new htb interpretation.
-TdK worked well as primary ruck. Even when injured He can influence the game in ways Pittonet simply can't and Harry chopping in also worked nicely
- much improved performances from Ollie and Cotteral

Wonderful third quarter guys with high pressure tackles and play!!

Please replicate this in the 1st, 2nd and 4th quarters for the remaining games of the season. Thank you.

Happy to get the win but we got across the line running like a clapped out Datsun 120y. I'm hoping we've done a massive training block in readiness for the finals.

Can someone explain the Cerra to defence move? If they were hiding him there then he has to be dropped. He had no idea what was going on in there.

We were woeful in the first half.

Things clicked in the third and if Cinc and Ollie kick easy shots we win that by 6 goals.

Hopefully that’s the spark, but if I’m Port I’d be licking my lips.

Hewett was great. Crippa was terrific. Walsh woke up in but second half. Thought Ollie and Cotts were better than decent on the wing.

Happy to be second. Gonna be an arm wrestle to keep the spot with Freo and Brion breathing down our necks.
