I personally like the 40 trades.

Still enough to finish teams, and a lot of teams will still be found out over the last 9 rounds.

We are at the point of the season where the difference seems really minimal because everyone has finished their team with a different amount of trades.

It’s probably 3/4/5 weeks from now the difference will be clearer.

I agree, I think those with trades up their sleeve and good bench cover will be able to make up a lot of ground on teams in the last month.

I ran out of trades with 4 rounds to go last year and lost 6k ranking spots as I had to play short etc.

I’ve spent up big to get Rankine in. But I am a little concerned that he gets extra attention/tags. Next 3 games are.

GWS - Bedford?
Lions- Berry?
Saints- Windy?

It’s either him of Dawson who gets the tag.

Does mckercher return this week after dominating in the vfl or does he get another game in the seconds?

Can't take Schoenmaker with Webster and Stocker available this week (plus Howard only 1 week away).

I think I'll just turn my D7/M9 Salem into Curnow, who will be an on-field scorer. It moves Jackson to F7 for loops/cover.

5 trades left, just $6k itb.

Next week I'll either hold, or 1 down/1 up to luxury upgrade JHF.

If I had more trades I’d be firing Touk into the sun.

5 round average of 90 and only 7 tons from 14 matches.

He was looking like a master-stroke starting pick after averaging 115 over the first 10 for $540k, but man he’s been ten shades of shit since.

3 90’s and a ton from the last 5, plus a 58 😤

Maybe Touk to Rozee and Punchy to Caldwell could be the play 🤔

Freijah and Clarke to Rozee and Brown.

Finishes M8 and leaves me with 6 trades left.

Thoughts?
No-brainer.

Rozee at a $190k discount is one of the easiest trades you’ll make.

Injury the only concern.

Not sure which mid to get out of Butters, Day, Dunkley and Walsh. Rank is not great, but sitting on top of cashie so want to consolidate.

Would be

Graham > Tholstrup
Oliver > One of the above. 6 trades left

Next week would be Freijah and Reville to probably Rankine and Rookie, leaving me with Sexton on the bench to float and 4 trades left.

Already booted Tuk Tuk, too much volatility b/w him The Sunscreen Kid & Mr Anderson.

Butters/Dunkley

I have Day, Butters and Walsh. Dunkley and butters are the ones I trust the most. Butters will cop more attention though so I’d probably lean towards Dunkley

Curious where the hold trades camp stand when it comes to players like Bont potentially missing the week. Loop Freijah/Arie or use 2 trades to bring in a 23rd? Understand the scepticism going down to 2 trades but surely benching Bont for a week isn’t the answer
