As much as I would love Tom Green this week, or Isaac Heeney if it weren’t for his bye, I’m thinking of Luke Jackson as
1- Will probably have to get him at some point and would like to own for games before Darcy comes back into the side
2- Provides cover for Grundy bye next week and Gawn bye Round 6, as well as the rest of the year via Livingstone DPP
3- Forwardline is weaker than midfield currently and it’ll save the boost that it would’ve taken for Tom Green

He has been trending down, hough, and his role.has not been great
Plus Crows look like they are either going to have to change things up or things could get further away.from them.
But get what you are saying, can't say I'm right, just reckon Wines will be more acceptable and stable till he goes.
It’s not just about Rankine vs Wines though, it’s about Tom Green vs Flanders.

Tough call

Don't they need to play so many games to get DP.
Re E.Hollands
I think the table is simply a trending after 4 rounds ......that's inc round 0

how many games do the need to have played by rd6? is it 4?

JHF not likely to qualify

unexpected Dempsey getting Mid - could help down the track
Horne misses because of inj .
But an option next round of DP.

Tough times… rookies mooing and don’t think I need to do anything crazy. Maybe just Coffield for Draper to bring in some more cash gen
Nobody is mooing after Rd 3. Vast majority of trades right now (including mine) are reactionary.

Feels good to finally own Piggy Tom Green perma VC/C

not worth bringing in jackson with darcy back soon

personally, i started with jackson. the plan is to dpp switch him to grundy next round(for SYD bye) and then after round 6 bring in gawn/marshall for jackson(MELB bye rd 6)

plan dependant on when darcy returns

but also, fwd options are pretty shit this year so could see jackson easily being a top 6 fwd for the year

Please make your images just a little bit bigger so I can see them from my space station. Much appreciated

into the top 1% already, which is ahead of schedule

i need to find a way to force darcy. do not want to get rid of either clark or wilson now as they still have money to make. i think the most logical path is fyfe to darcy - fyfe sounds like hes struggling already from what longmuir is saying and his scoring has been medicore. sub vest seems to have his name written all over it too.

then i want tom brown. richmond injury issues should make his job security rock solid and i think he can easily make 150k with his neat kicking. hore has to go for him - think he is dropped as soon as may returns

this gives me a massive amount of cash itb which i can dump onto jordon next week to turn him into a premium on his bye in 1 trade.

team after trades

I have two options this week which I am torn on.

Option A

Wines to Green

Option B

Rankine to Flanders

Who would be the bigger priority? Green or Flanders?
Neither is a priority trade. Both already entered upper half of their price range and probably +40-50K would see them max out if they dont have a lowish score in next 2 weeks. You will be able to buy both of them at this price again.
Rankine is a concern for sure, but still a 110 BE isnt fatal at his price. You must have had some faith in him so easy to run awhile.
I'd prefer one of those two in form KPF's to buying Flanders. Cheaper for a start and both Hogan and McKay are playing proper lead out roles getting way way upfield, more a Riewoldt style and we know that is golden for points. They arnt stay home KPF's that i wouldnt touch. Marks and Goals = big points. Both can kick 80+ this year. They dont all need to be mids in our fwd line. Flanders is in a team that will win 50% and has regular point scavengers like Touk Rowell Anderson to compete with for 110+ scores. PLUS i think Curnow may have picked up a niggle at Carlton. McKay looks damn tempting. Bit of a ramble just typing as thinking about it.
I dont see how Wines is an issue requiring any attention right now. Ticking over ok and can have a spike score to kick things along.

Buderick to Draper
Billings to Darcy
Jordon to McKay.

Do want bramble but rather bring in draper for the cash in the backline at this stage.
Leaves 350 K in the bank for an upgrade next week and now waiting for cows to really cash up.

worth using boost to do this?

would leave team like this:

already used boost twice this would be third time
No. Draper and Brown are both speculative rookies at best. Fair enough taking a punt on one of them, but both is overkill IMO.

You're also probably better off downgrading Jordon to Darcy. Wilson has more cash to make than Jordon and Jordon's got the bye next week anyway. That would give you some cash to play with over the next few weeks too.

Hopefully Wilson can have a better week next week.
Sexton too.
