The "content creators" are not here to help anyone but themselves.

I used to follow them to try and improve my efforts; didn't take long to realise they promote trades or captain choices etc. only to do something completely different come the start of the round. Best advice I ever gave myself was to just back what I thought was best...

Ignoring Tim Michell is a good start. The only 'content creator/expert' not to have his best final ranking in his twitter handle, for good reason. Says 'BUY' for pretty much every player discussed, bloke gets gifted 100 trades so he can finish in the top 10,000.

Need to see how Comben goes.

But I'm getting De Goey. He's cheap, he has the ability to score very well, and he's in form. His scores will probably be inconsistent but he will go up in value.

I'm grabbing all these sorts of kents - JHF, JDG, LDU. One or two of them might go gangbusters and I'll be laughing. If not, they're still gonna score better than a rookie, they'll go up in price gradually and I'll upgrade them again later.

At this stage, Salem > Graham and Kerch > JDG.

Leaves a fair bit of coin to help get NickyD and LDU next week

Deck chair shuffling season officially ends.

Upgrade season begins! Finally we can start actually improving our teams.

For me, likely McKerch and Fish for Heeney and Graham.

Heeney as an anti-POD is not working. Need to get him (particularly given the state of the forwardline) in even if he is going to ultimately crash and burn.

Week after my sights are squarely on Jordan Dawson.

Grundy to Heen.. Heen… Heeney,
There, I said it!
(And I was a little sick in my mouth….)

638k for an injury prone forward with a coach that could go loco at any minute.
What could possibly go wrong?

$100k itb

Assuming Clohesy and Graham look good and hold their spots:

-Coffield to Clohesy +$20k
-Cadman to Graham +$140k

Leaves me with $260k to spend

Then it all depends on Comben. If he looks like a must-have, he'll come in. If not, I'll either grab the best premo I can afford or just wait a week.

Ah really? So he sucks even more than I thought.

I must admit I didn't research that claim, I just wanted to mention 'Dawson' and 'Yecch' in the same post! :moustache:

He sucks even more that that. He hit 130 DT the other week and still couldn't tonne.

So I have a few options the way I see it.
Caroll to Graham
Mass/Kerch to zerrett
Or
Clarke to Graham, Wilson to sellers and Carroll. To zerrett.
First one saves trades and a boost. Potential is there to miss another spike from Carroll mass or Kerch.
Second one uses the extra trade and goes early on sellers. But only loses crab rookies who I will never field.
This weekends points will show me the way

Massimo > Daicos
McKercher > Graham
Campbell > Comben

Can't resist the little ball pig at that price and it looks like Graham is the beneficiary of Flanders role change. Down to 4 rookies on field and hopefully 3 by the time round 7 hits, of course the bottom 4 players aren't keepers (could probably say that about the whole team) but they should be ok as placeholders until the main byes.

You didn't want Clohesey ?

Had to go early on him this week, if I waited a week it would eliminate Comben or Graham. The smartest way to go IMO would be grabbing Graham this week because of his DPP, I don't like going early on rookies but if he fails then I can at least use him as a FD, if Clohesy fails then I'm stuck with a cheap dead rookie who's of less use. So a slight tweak to the plan is in order.

It's too soon to make trade plans for next week imo. There are about 5 of my rookies that COULD be trade outs depending on what they score.

Comben and Graham could be in's. Want to upgrade in midfield. Dawson might be the best option.
