Trades 2024 Round 6 Trades

So many possibilities this week, reckon it'll be a real make or break week for most teams.

I've narrowed my trades down to two options:

Option 1 (aka bye-bye baby rooks, hello baby face):

Sanders --- Graham

McKercher --- Walsh

Option 2 (aka Yeo-LO)

Libba --- Walsh

Campbell --- Yeo

McKercher --- Graham

Option 1 is the safe bet, but I'm ranked 86 places behind Lord De Goey at 197 and that is not acceptable. Also, as much as I love Libba, there just seems something off with him/the doggies in general. Could be nothing, but I don't like the uncertainty with so much money invested in him.

Heres hoping that Sharp & Massimo appreciate enough that i can do 1 down to Garcia & the other up to Walsh for round 7. I have 15k in the bank too so should be able to swing it!

Here is my team after Biggie, Graham & Heeney made their way in this round

As long as some combo of Williams, Massimo & Sharp can be traded (with 2 trades, im not boosting again) to a rookie like Garcia or McAuliffe and Walsh then im happy. 15k in the bank. Then ill have to look at improving forwards a bit but im currently happy to let things play out and the trio of Comben, Darcy & H.Reid are scoring well enough at the moment so im not going to rush in a speculative 'keeper/premium'

I'm looking at similar trades 2 of sharp mass sanders and Roberts out for Walsh and a rookie.
Ideally sharp and Sanders.
My preference is to trade Roberts (r12 bye) over mass (R15 bye) if all things remain equal.
Mass can be flipped to someone who has already had a bye Roberts can't.

Might do Roberts and Sharp if i can. I havent given the byes much thought yet but Massimo can stay til round 15 then :)

Why are people trading in Walsh, a premo with chronic back problems that remain unresolved. Am I missing something?

He is one hard hit away from being out again.

Risk v reward.

If he was named R1 he would have been in most teams and the fact that he was kept back until now and then came straight back into an inside role (rather than the wing/hybrid he has done previously) suggests to me that he is well and truly over it.

Looks that way .

Was reported a month ago he was close to going back to the back doctor.
As he couldn't bend down or anything.

He's made a huge recovery..

True he would be in lots of teams RD one ..

Anyone think Macrae will come good as a top 6 forward? Could be a big comeback week with Libba out. I'm sure a lot of us got burned by him last year but outside of that this man averaged 115+ 5 years straight, it's hard to imagine such a drastic fall-off.

I can't see myself picking Zorko or Powell over this guy but maybe I'm just too biased given I've had him almost every year.

I don't really want to pay premiums for heeney, I got burned by him the exact same way last year.

Is it too late to trade in the Peen. I’m sick of watching Sydney games in fear and arousal.

It’s a question I have to ponder, too. He’s started off the year on historically good pace. I’m taking the risk he has a hiccup or speed bump or two and may ease off on price a bit. But yes, it’s brutal not having the form player of the comp.

Think I'm just double downgrading instead of going early on a north rook, Clark could be in place of Coffield as he is gonna bleed what little money he has made lol.
Not 100% sold on Comben but even if he fails he probably makes ~70k+ and I have Darcy at F5 not F6 like some others.
$237K ITB ready to get Stew in next week. hopefully Trac the week after.

No. You need to get him & Flanders if you don't have him. You're losing 40-50 pts a game without him because the next best forward cover is probably 80 average

I have had Flanders from the get go. Time to get me some Peen.
