I'll probably hold Xerri all year as my eventual R2, he's been really good.

Only averaging 2.6 points a game less than English.

The hope as a north supporter is with sheeze going well in the mids now he will be hitting to a more settled midfield.
The first half of the year must have been tough for him with different mids every 5 minutes.
At least now he may be able to work on a play or 2.

If Sweet plays this week Xerri is perfect

As an English Owner ....I'm shocked to think someone would consider him a luxury upgrade .....man, has he been frustratingly unreliable

But he's over $600k now, and with that 70 in his 3-rd-avg, he'll keep dropping.

Sweet is gone so I went Witts. He's been rested twice and has a bye coming up so I'm hoping he will be a decent POD on the run home. Coming into finals the PODs are going to be vital with so many trades so I'm backing Witts in as one of mine.

l think Teakle will be used to help Larkey in the forward line and similar to the way Pink was used last week as a FWD/ 2nd ruck option. l dont think it will affect his SC score that much..

I don't live in Melbourne so I didn't watch any training this week, but I suspect Teakle will chop out a little bit.

Teakle took about a quarter of HOs in the VFL game last weekend.

He won't take out that much with X in the dominant role, but I wouldn't be surprised if he took more HOs than the likes of Pink and Larkey have in recent weeks.

Happy to be corrected by any of my learned Shinboners, but I suspect his inclusion is mostly to give Clarko the option of three tall forwards, rather than take away from Xerri's role.

But... We have no history of Teakle and X rucking together, and we have no examples of us running with three genuine talls in the forward line in 2024, so its hard to make an informed guess of how much Teaks will impact X's scoring.

Teakle roughly played 70% forward last week in the vfl. Will affect Xerri’s scoring to a minor degree, but I don’t think so in a significant way. Xerri is having a really good year and is in good form.

Just thought I’d give a shout out to Xerri… How bloody good has he been this season!

Only 4 games below 100 with a lowest score of 82 (the other 3 in the 90’s) and a high of 144. Absolute beast, bravo to those who jumped on.
