Seriously disappointing half of football. Reeves, Serong and Maginness been alright. Ryan, Ward and Phillips passable. Rest of the listed players underwhelming.

A very disappointing quarter. The stupidity of kicking into the breeze, then just bombing it with no system was mind boggling. The most concerning thing is our lack of desire to win contests.

Maginness is the standout. His ball usage hasn’t been good but he’s putting in 100%. Willy have started to tag him.

Reeves giving us first use at clearance that we aren’t capitalising on.

Serong continues to be our most damaging defender.

Ward one of the better users.

Wingard/O’Sullivan/DGB/Scafie no impact. The latter has one ripping kick at least.

CJ been OK but not fantastic.

Definitely need to hang tough and try to minimise Willy’s ability to extend the lead.

Smarter use of the footy in the conditions would be a great start. No reason to force things into such a gale. It will simply get turned over and sent back with interest.

Littlejohn and the coaches need to set a plan for this term which we are able to stick to. If that’s ugly stoppage footy which soaks up time, I’m all for it.
