We are closer than we should be. Port had by far the best of the first half and if not for some really shit umpiring decisions that lead directly to goals they could be much further ahead. Nevertheless we won the quarter and we're well within striking distance. Hopefully the umpire doesn't have a bearing on the result of the game in the second half.

Absolutely would’ve slotted back in. His run is missing big time tonight. He opens the ground up. We can’t move it cleanly so far.

Disappointing to give away that extremely late junk time goal. Still well and truly in it and we haven’t got out of 3rd gear. Must kick the first 3 goals this quarter and put some pressure on Port.

We haven't really been able to get our game going but credit to Port coz their pressure and tackling has been great.

Scrim has been huge and Serong has looked comfortable.

Hopefully someone has a chat to Weddle at 1/2 time to give him a pat on the bum and tell him he's good enough coz he looks a bit lost out there.

We really need to start getting more first use of the ball to put some pressure on them.

Considering how much they've been on top in general play we are doing okay to only be down 9.

Hopefully they've spent a lot of their energy in that first half so we can run over them.
