She's the ****in worst... all for a woman in the job to be honest and I think the AFL has a number of super high quality female candidates

But she's attrocious. Was terrible for north even worse for the AFL.

It's going to be a bad look when Dill has to sack her.
There are many capable women who are more qualified and experienced than Laura "DEI" Kane, if being a woman was a prerequisite for selection.

She is a prime example of mediocrity rising in large organisations. Mediocrity does not challenge, conforms to the status quo and is easily manipulated.

The best example in footy was how Kevin Sheedy rarely, if ever, appointed an assistant who could get his job. Think Mark Harvey, Dean Wallis et al. His greatest move was encouraging Timmy to take our coaching job, when his position was threatened by the emergence of Watson as a future coaching candidate at Essendon.

Any summary ?

Wasn’t overly long.

Spoke of drop in form last year and being dropped from team.

Wants to play midfield. Reckons he’s already learning midfield craft from Macrae.

Interestingly, for anyone still thinking he’s a flight risk he spent some time in Adelaide during the off season but now he’s back at RSEA Park THIS feels like home

I think he doesn't take into account just how brutal our injuries were especially to mids. Even without progression and just purely from a better injury run and a softer fixture I reckon we substantially improve.
Journos don’t do deep analytical stuff well at all…they’re almost dismissive about us being one of the better performers the last third of the season!

“The saints ruined paddy McCartin’s career playing him forward and should have realised much sooner he was a superior backman”.
No mention of 6 concussions that might have had a small impact.

Up there with worst take of the year. And the bloke sitting next to him backing him up has the IQ of a golden retriever.

You are not wrong.

Shouldn't let it bother you. Healy is well past it. The angry ranting has been has seen better days.

If we played him at full back, Gerard Healy would be the first one complaining that we're wasting his talent down there.

Yeah Healy's quote as it is doesn't make sense. We didn't ruin his career, concussions did. But the part in bold is almost correct... he was a better defender, but the club NEVER realised it. There's no "sooner" about it.

Too harsh on golden retrievers

He also said we should have taken Josh Sinn instead of Nas. Has a huge go at us at the time he is clueless.

Geeze I'm no mccartin fan but that's a ducking terrible call.

Saints did nothing but the best for the guy. Mccartin didn't make it because of mccartin.
