One or both of Phillips and Simpkin need to become a manic pressure forward because our transition defense is laughable.

Simpkin is manic, but too slow.

Philips isn't manic, and is too slow and not agile enough.

They are not what we need in that position.

Adelaide had a shocker year and didn't show up for a few games. Although Rachele is possibly gettable, he would be stupid to come to us. One team is ready to grow together, the other doesn't know how to.

We’ve got to have a proper crack at Parker, we’d have salary cap space to front end something attractive, plus he’s good enough forward of the ball to not unnecessarily deprive our mids of minutes.

Culturally he’d be priceless.

We were a few bad bounces from getting 6 wins after the bye.

If Fisher converts from 30 out against the pies (or they call the 50), if that ball bounces better to Jy against the Ds and about 10 plays in the last 90 seconds against WC.

If we improve the list a realistic amount and learn to not choke away leads then it is possible to jump out of the bottom four.

On the flip side if we don't get that htb against WC, if Richmond kick straight, if old mate from GC doesn't miss.

They will help us if they are coming for the right reason, like Shiels did. If they are coming as their super plan or with an axe to grind, they will set crap standards and make us worse. I would rather we stripped the list back hard, hit the draft, and let Jy and Harry run the joint.
