Sam Switkowski I reckon is gettable for the right price. Knowing us we'd overpay though

Fills a list need but is very injury prone. Struggles to hit the scoreboard.
Why can't we draft players like him.

Oh, * off, we have had precisely zero high pick gifts. And to bunch us with the Suns academy? Infuriating.
Crikey...you can just see the Saints nuffies frothing while reading this. Fine work Jay.

Fair play to StK if they are going after the top end. History suggests they haven't got a hope in hell, but good on them for continuing to try.

We should go and offer Berry and McLuggage $5mil for 5 years and immediately make them co-captains. While we are in Brissy we should also get Lester.

Gee that would be a story.

Out top 10 picks have almost all been single picks for finishing low over several years, with one extra for trading (trading away a #1 pick and trading out pick 1 which gets forgotten) and one extra for a free agent leaving in his prime for a very high salary. Zero gifts.

LOL. McDonald looks cooked. Phillips is in struggle town. And Stephens is a Cat traded for from another club. Plus Stephenson is a pick 6 and ain’t even mentioned. What a nonsense article. Hand the keys back Clark yah Twit. Yah not a journalist’s arsehole. :stern look

Yeah, brilliant. We'll give them McDonald, Stephens and Phillips for Max King then.
Yeah and Max King’s value has diminished because he didn’t play on the weekend eventhough he is a top 10 pick so the Saints will jump at the opportunity. :stern look

Also, only mentioned in the fine print is that in the time it has taken us to accrue this group of top end picks in our team, StKilda has had top picks as well but they chose poorly.

Jarryd Lyons for 2 years to help our midfield, we aren't going to get star players. Lyon still gets plenty of the footy, is outside best 22 and migt be attracted by regular game time and bringing through our young midfield.

Jack Graham, still in a good age bracket, from a good system and club, always talked up for his leadership qualities. Is a free agent, multiple years at good money might be attractive for him.

Help forward for Larkey and support for Xerri in the ruck is a must, but there isn't much around.

In all these discussions of who has the most top end picks on their list, there should always be a disclaimer that players traded from other clubs should no longer be considered the draft value they were first drafted at.

That Jay Clark is deliberately misrepresentive of the situation. Yes St.Kilda only had 1 top 10 pick play on the weekend but they have top ten picks Max King, Hunter Clark, Liam Henry and Paddy Dow all missing due to injury and Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera was pick 11.

And NWM is better than ANY of ours except for Sheezel. And so is King, by the way.
