Cameron would be an amazing addition to any team. He is elite. Not sure we were ever remotely in the hunt for him though. GWS would've demanded more than pick 3. Probably our first two picks in that draft.

Stengle and Tarryn together might have finished both of their careers.
The important bit is Jeremy would have had to want to come here. The likelihood of that would have been zero.

Sorry I was being a wee bit ironic!

May have been lost on some ;-)

No way known would either have wanted to come to us.

That’s why some of the comments in here I find well meaning but a little ridiculous.

And I also though that Tyson Stengle would have been a great pick up for us too, I just don't know what our recruiting and list management team have been thinking.

No doubt about that Midas, and in Stengle’s case he sought the council of close mate and life coach the retiring Eddie Betts, who raves about Geelong still. Not only Eddie but Eddie’s wife is Stengle’s manager. He was always going to Cotton On Park.

Seems like an obvious solution, recruit Eddie in an advisory role?

Gee Toby Bedford would have made sense as a pick up wouldn't he? I remember at the time he was leaving the Dees thinking he would be perfect for us and completely gettable. How we manage to miss that one?

I'll create a thread for you to join the dots on.

A particular scandal that started at another club but impacted ours massively broke the week Bedford was meeting clubs.

I’d play him on the half back flank for a few years until we move him into the guts when Wardlaw retires
Coleman-Jones will be playing the defensive running distributor role next year when we send him to a specialist in Mumbai who will attach a bionic Achilles tendon to his clavicle..

Couldn't agree more, zurhaar is finished, he doesn't want to be there, he shouldn't be there for the good of both the club and his own career.
The only thing keeping him here is the fact he has very close mates here (souv, Sleevo, ct, fish, griff, tucker etc) that he’d want to keep playing with

Otherwise I think he’d be 100% gone

Now I think it’s a genuine 50/50

Chairman I've tried so hard to be a better person, let so much go through as it doesn't really matter. And I actually think if you are who I think you are, I went into bat for you.

But as an unabashed Cam fan, you can royally fucl< off.

You need to stop with the back and white and live in the grey.

Before you go on, you are aware you're arguing with a chatbot yeh?

Im sorry that you feel this way but reality doesn't care what we feel. Reality is that we offered zurhaar a 5 year deal and he want none of it. LDU has put contract on hold. This tells me they are gone.

We will not give them much more than what we have given nor should we. These two players won't make us better but our unhealthy reliance on them will certainly make us a lot worse.

This isn't a black white grey thing, it's simply a developmental stage thing. The club appears to have made a decision to build the team around the 2022 draft group and for a very good reason.

yes, i don't disagree

l think Zuurhar will 100% leave however if LDU continues to play the way he did last weekend then l think that there is more chance of him staying. Time will tell.

I don't disagree.

If uniacke feels he's part of something good, then he may good he obliged to stay.
