Should we just be in the mindset of we’re not going to gain any decent mature aged player, mainly because

a) they don’t want to make the move to Vic?

b)if they are the type of talent we need, chances are clubs are going to want to keep them a one club player. Again, I can see Sydney doing this.

It’s almost like, what’s the point? There has to be like one anomaly out there and it’s going to take a lot of behind the scenes works from the club

Trades aren't made in October.
They're made in the weekends leading up to the season finishing.
Guarantee North would have an idea of who's got a contract for next year at the club and who's going.
If our guys were any good, they'd have teams already trying to poach them over for season 2025.

I'd be happy with any small forward that has a bit of speed and can provide some well needed defensive pressure.

Been far too long (The days of Thomas & Campbell) since we've had anyone capable of regular run down tackles across half forward.

We're talking about a F2 pick being involved. He doesnt want to leave his current club empty handed.

I think the F2 is being traded on the understanding that bad Scott is allowed to fulfill his 8 yr rebuild at the hangar

It’s all about the law of averages, you don’t need tall/small forwards when we’ve got so many mediums.

Not against that at all, our rd 2 will be 20, not sure we'd get pick 19 for Phillips and pick 20

Be 22 at best as rd2 doesn't start until 21 but will be bids before then
