Trade is done now and it's all a moot point - but how many people buy into the 'this is our window' narrative? I certainly have done (even today) but after looking at our age profile I'm not sure it's necessarily true.

If we used the draft picks, and considering it takes roughly 4 years for players to get 'to the level' required - the only essential older players on our list who'd be past their prime is Pearce and Ryan. Pearce is the more essential of the two, Ryan is very important. Switkowski would be 31 but would he be essential? Darcy and Cox would be 30 - if their bodies held up.

We have a very good player in Bolton and it's clear we are rolling the dice to secure that premiership in the next couple of years, can't but help to think this is massive sliding doors moment though.
