Should we look at Preuss and put him through a physical? He might be cooked the reason GWS have delisted him, but if he has sorted his injuries out he would be a cheap backup option. He has only played 3 x VFL games in the past 2 years he would be a risk, but Soldo has a long history of being fairly injury prone also.

I would love for the club to also target and grab a young ruckman at the draft.
🙏

So it is obvious for anyone still unsure of what the President meant by hitting the draft in succession. It is obvious we want to go all in on the draft this year then go all in on Brayshaw, LDU, Callaghan, Leek Aleer etc in trading in 2025.

It could not be more transparent to other clubs and our own supporters who care to pay attention.
Sometimes you have to take the club at it's word. I've heard nothing other than we are hitting the draft this year. Sure we'll hunt down MacRae, Soldo types on the cheap that fill a need but I'm expecting nothing other than we'll be chasing the best available mids with our draft picks.

dan hanneberry admitting he could only train for 10 mins during the week in 2017... a year before he ends up at st kilda... his last season at sydney his body was cooked and he was struggling... sydney and him mutual agreement that he should go given how big his contract was

he was secretly going to melb mid week to get help with his injuries in his last season at sydney. fmd.

rofl admitted that when he was booted from the leadership group he was drinking too much.

John Donohue (sen) - “port will ask for a second (Ivan Soldo). I have my sources at the saints as you know. They won’t get a second rounder.”

Heard Oliver had a good chat at one of the many farms Geelong players seem to own about the prospect of playing in the midfield with Tom Stewart etc.

Fair enough, though. Must have been blown back by the club that players bend over backwards and take a $250k per year pay cut just to get into the joint. Ah well, at least Clayton can install a casino on his new five hectare property.

He's super hyped but just not that excited by him. He looks okay but not a stand out like Jackson was. To me he looks like just another ruck. I'd rather get Penry with a really late pick.

Can't wait for the Giants to get band 1 and push our band 2 compo back further.
Sadly, I think that is very likely to happen. The press is already pushing the fact that Perryman is younger therefore worth more in compensation.
I like Bassett but unfortunately we have to remember that the AFL is vindictive and he has tried to strong arm them. That is unlikely to end well for us.
