Whippy Mcwhipped left our club for less money to go and play for Sam Mitchell... apparently for his "family."

Trying to establish what people think Battle's true value was. I know it varies depending on the length of contract but I'd say Pick 8 would've been around the money. I certainly wouldn't have traded him for that spud Mackay who got North pick 3.

Richmond wants 2 firsts for Bolton and Port wants 2 firsts for Houston. Now i realise they are both "starting points" but Battle just got a pdoum BnF at 26 as a Key Back.

I think we would have demanded AT least pick 8

If he was out of contract you'd be looking at a pick in the 20s for him. I know he is a good player, coming off a very good season but there is no way in hell you'd get a top 10 pick for him, unless you were trading with Gold Coast of course.
