Membrey should have a one deal with a basic wage on the table from us. If a club wants him they should be offering him a longer deal or more money.

It's really not worth losing him for nothing. He's well respected and still playing decent footy. If anything he's very handy depth and a good leader, even if that's in the VFL.

My understanding was that he has a 1 year deal. But don’t be first choice 23 next year and we are happy for him to look around for more security and role

They interviewed Rawlings and he was asked about LDU. He said they are hoping he re-signs and he loves the club but at the moment his management are not wanting to discuss an extension and as such they are being dictated by LDU’s timeline. Just didn’t sound confident IMO.

Why would they move on Stringer who they have contracted on low money for one year, only to bring in Membrey who you think would only leave saints for a two year deal?? Doesn’t make sense
