Not sure I understand the reasoning for leaving a list spot open for the MSD, I know that we've done alright out of the MSD in the past, but as we found out last year with Markov, if there's a spot free and we've got a player who can justify a spot on our list, then why not sign them up? Take someone at the MSD if we've opened up a list spot as a result of a retirement or long term injury - if we don't have either, by the mid-way mark of the year, then our SSP signings have had an extra 6 months on our list to fit into our program.I’m hoping they only take Teakle as we need an additional ready to play ruck imo
and maybe 1 other from that list… leave spots open in the MSD
Kelly no - had 5 years. Is he a winger? Defender? More identity issues than tik tok
Bytel no - ditto had 5 years at saints. Good VFL stats like Macrae but not at the next level
Sosofrinidis no - Spindly build gives me Oxley flashbacks. Club could’ve taken an immediately better ready made intercept defender in Marty Hore but ignored him
Hustwaite no - why invite him ti train when he has been at the club for years? Would’ve been taken in the rookie draft if they really wanted him
Eyre 50/50 - with Murphy’s issues, Deans injuries… pies need another KPD in my opinion. Kid has shown some glimpses in the VFL this year.
But why haven’t they invited the fullback Phillips from Port Melbourne down?
Much more likely success story than Eyre
Maybe this year because we're trialling so many they may not leave a spot open for the MSD.Not sure I understand the reasoning for leaving a list spot open for the MSD, I know that we've done alright out of the MSD in the past, but as we found out last year with Markov, if there's a spot free and we've got a player who can justify a spot on our list, then why not sign them up? Go to Jen's insta stories if you're after your footy fix & can't wait until she's posted here..
Boys look good.
It might depend on if Dean looks fit & firing, although Eyre can play at both ends.Maybe this year because we're trialling so many they may not leave a spot open for the MSD.
Yoe were right to mention him first, Jen.I agree, Steene clearly has added some strength to his upper body. Looked much bigger.

They do, don't they? Great to see.Dean, Steene (21), Begg, & Allan all looked noticeably bigger.
(HDM wearing 13; TJ: 19).
Excellent. Seems like he’s learned his lesson the hard way, potentially at the cost of a premiership medal. He was impressive today. His tackling, running and bursting through packs. he's been working in the off season.
Maybe retire from AFLKelly? That’s interesting. He’s only 22 not sure why he would retire from footy
