The 4 mentioned (Sofrinidis, Teakle, Husthwaite, Bytel) are trialling. The club said up to 4 would be trialling. So, I guess make of that what you will..

I suppose they could still add a couple more, but they did say they'd be inviting up to 4.

Eyre should be training with the VFL squad so it’s easy for the club to assess him if need be. Up to 6 players can be invited to train under the ssp rules. I’m tipping Eyre might be one after Christmas but it’s a guess.

Campbell is an interesting one, BnF in the VFL and a chance to train with the big boys. He’s a Scott Burns type for me, not a lot of tricks but will be there every minute of the game. Glad to see the club rewarding form in the VFL. Let’s hope Fin gets a few games in 2024.

Eyre has been doing his own training with Lippa too.

I think it's a good mix to have a look at over summer.

We seem to have a knack for finding players who just need a different environment to thrive.

I was having nightmares about the stick arms and legs too, along with the lack of follicles up top. If he is somehow rookied, he'll be Mr Spindle Legs to me. On appearances, he won't seem from the outside like an inspired selection. I'd rather re-rookie Kelly.

Nah. Kelly's had 6 years to show something & hasn't. I've never heard anyone describe Kelly as 'impressive' 'one of the best' 'star' 'dominant'

I'm more than comfortable moving Kelly on & giving this guy an opportunity to prove himself over summer.

Hustwaite has terrific leadership attributes. I’d love to see him elevated for that alone.
I agree that I struggle to see his slot at AFL level, but I’d be wrapped if he made one.
Good luck to him. He’s already been an impressive servant to the club.

Tew has a lovely frame. I think he will bulk up quickly with a good weights program.

I would rather they take a relatively cautious approach to the bulking up process. Build slowly and don't break anything in the process.

Collingwood will train away from Olympic Park across the first block of the pre-season due to resurfacing works, with the group set to start on Gosch's Paddock before spending most of the next month training at Victoria Park.

So i've been told, we are training at Gosch's just for monday. Then it'll be at Vic park.
That's just perfect for me. I can walk there.
