Um have you not been paying attention. His own deeply conservative chief of staff in those first four years came out and said he was a facist. He might not be hitler but he may very well be another putin and erdogen in the making.

The rhinos, supreme court, public servants and military stopped trumps fascist views in his first term.

The rhinos are now gone, he now controls the supreme court and he plans on kicking out most of the public service and replacing them with maga people. This will be a very different four years.

Are you morally ok with his plans to deport 20 plus million immigrants?
Republican In Name Only

Yes. I don't think the Carrol trial or the Bragg case would have made it to court if Trump didn't nominate again. That's not saying he is not guilty just that the only reason they were pursued was for political purposes.

FFS. Of course the Carroll trial would have made it to court. It was a civil action taken by her and he was found guilty of sexually assaulting her. Then he defamed her and it went back to court. And he still hasn't paid, so enforcement proceedings will likely be held in court.

This is not even close to political, so again your abysmally low comprehension skills drive your incredibly ill-informed post.

We wouldnt make do. Especially if we stopped getting imports from usa companies that come from china.
Would those companies get marked up by having the tariffs on their own products going to the USA (and so our price also goes up) or would they avoid the tariffs?
Eh I’m not expecting an answer really, as there’s no ****ing detail in how these tariffs will work. We will learn in 2 more weeks… like a healthcare plan…

Presidents do not control the Supreme Court.
It was left leaning for a number of years. Now it’s right leaning. Perfectly normal swings and roundabouts.

The idea that a President can tell the US Suoreme Court judge what to do is just ignorant. Once they are appointed they are beholden to nobody and they cannot be sacked.

Which of these things do you think will happen:

  • tariffs on all imports
  • deport 11 million illegal immigrants
  • dictator for one day
  • nationwide abortion ban
  • trash 1st amendment go after non maga sycophant media
  • let Elon gut the administrative state
  • invade Mexico
  • send national guard in the cities to fight crime
  • let Russia have Ukraine
  • wind back NATO
  • Drill baby drill - wind back any sort of progressive climate change policies
  • Gut education to teach maga friendly education
  • repeal trans rights

He tried to steal an election in 2020, people in the past who have attempted that don’t have a good track history of winning back power and just governing normally like nothing bad ever happened.

These are all things he has said he wants to do, maybe you like a lot of them, or all of them…
If there is a clean sweep a national abortion ban will be quicker thab barretts sc nomination

Why did the Republicans block Merrick Garland then?

Umm they were hand picked to align with comservative views. They do his bidding by choice.

And in thomas case some kickbacks to help boost his income also seem to help.

Yep the landscape of the Republican Party is way different to 2020 and unrecognisable from even 2016.

It’s fully Trump MAGA now, full of loyalists and fealty to dear leader the litmus test of your worth.

Like not being allowed to say he lost the 2020 election and having to contort yourself in all sorts of contradictory directions to defend his bonkers statements.

The amount of ostensibly normal people proclaiming these lawsuits are political drives me bonkers.

Georgia and the classified material? Like c'mon. How can any rational person defend this stuff?

Im stunned that so many people dont seem to get this. Its completely different this time. He is now surrounded by crazy Magas and yes men who treat him like a king who can do no wrong. Feels like we are all going to find out the hard way.

It would have been right leaning if Obama had been allowed his constitutional right to nominate and have heard, a SCOTUS pick when RBG died.

Now it's firmly to the right, with 3 Trump appointees, and hey presto, they've granted Presidents unprecedented immunity not long before an election.

Just like Democrats select judges that align with their views when positions become vacant.

It’s nothing new. Been going on forever. I’m not sure why the angst.

And it was firmly to the left before that. Thats just life and reality.

Oh so just skip past the outright denial of this constitutional right by Republicans.

You're full of it.
