I'm not so sure about Lindsay. Hard to reconcile "elite kick" with that photo — that ball could be going anywhere!

Game is faster than it's ever been. Speed has always been important, now it's critical.
Cue Jaeger O'meara, too slow for the modern game imo

So, appreciate he may be long gone by the time we come to make our first selection, but jayzus I would love us to have a crack at Alix Tauru. Looking at those incredibly sticky mits and his intensity in defending, I can’t help but think that our biggest list gap after a small forward would be a lockdown medium defender/interceptor like him. I mean, who do we have on the list if Ryan ever goes down?

Chapman. But i agree Tauru is impressive

That's part of the Allan appeal.

In current list terms, Worner would come in and roles would shuffle a bit.
I’d be surprised if worner plays another AFL game for freo.
He’d have been delisted this year if he didn’t have a contract for 2025, and is probably the first cab off the rank for delisting at the end of next season, alongside Delean at this stage.
I think he’s well off the pace of a top AFL team to be honest.

Draper on the other hand will be a 200 game player and is the perfect long term replacement for Ryan as a third tall.

I am curious to know where our NGAs play.

I know we have 3 in the next two years, that should go inside the first 2 rounds.

Someone said Whan was an outside mid, or half back with good skills. How are about the other 2?

Caveat is I haven't seen the other two play (and barely seen Whan) but Hart is a small forward and Robinson is a 188cm (at 16) inside mid.

Strongly agree. Yet somehow he gets picked in high pressure games ahead of actual needs. Baffling coaching.

Great combination of players.

Fit our needs very nicely. Hopefully Robinson can play outside a bit, or has a 2nd position

It goes without saying, but no matter how well rated they are right now there's a hell of a lot of development and water to go under the bridge.
Hopefully they make it to a draftable level for their sake, and then even better if they offer something special.

Well as an essendon supporter I know that McGrath's major weakness is his awful decision making, blazing kicks to nothing or blind dumping snap kicks forward. That's not going to be an issue for Fred, he's poised with the ball and decision making looks elite from what we've seen.

I should clarify- he MOVES like Andy McGrath.
Not saying he’s going to be a similar player

Second best player in his age bracket at the moment. Inside mid and a strong contested mark. His last couple of Colts games was named in the best players as a double underager.

I think this is why we will happily throw next years first and our 2026 first at Sydney. Whan will likely go first round in 2025 and Robinson is on track for top 10

I think Swadling is the best goal kicking midfielder junior from WA I have seen since Stephen Coniglio.
